本课时选自EEC小学英语教材五年级下册第三单元《She’s a Vet》 Let’s have fun 1 .本单元的主要内容是谈论假期的计划和他人的职业，本课时是第三单元的第一课时——谈论假期计划，通过关于计划周末或假期活动的内容，学习将来时的表达。

【学情分析】

五年级的学生经过两年多的英语学习，

已经掌握了一定的语言基础，能够进行大量的日常交流，四年级和五年级上学期学过一些表达能做的事情的短语，如go swimming, play the piano, read books, clean the room, go to the library, go to the department store等等，这些已有的知识都为学生进行本课的话题交流进行了铺垫。
