教材分析

我们所学的教材是湘少版的英语教材，适合湖南大部分的孩子，这本六年级下册的教材，在三四五年级的基础上，加入了对大自然知识的讲解，这个单元正是讲解太空知识，孩子们很感兴趣。通过这本教材，学生对科学的魅力产生了好奇，

同时也加强学生的环保意识。

学情分析

六年级的孩子接触英语已经有三四年了，他们可能不在满足于日常交际用语，想了解一些激发兴趣的知识，这个单元讲解的太空知识正适合孩子们。

教学目标

1.知识目标：能理解、会说新单词earth, land and river, Space Museum, the sun, stars, the moon；掌握并能运用句型“look like…” 2.能力目标：

能在图片和关键词的帮助下理解课文内容,并能带有感情朗读课文，复述课文。

3.情感目标：通过对课文的学习，让学生初步了解有关太空的知识，提高学习兴趣，激发学科学、爱科学、用科学的热情以及体会保护地球，爱护环境的重要性。

教学重点：

1、能理解并掌握“look like ….”的含义及用法

2、理解、朗读课文并复述课文。
