procedure: 一、Warming up:
Greeting. Sing some songs together. 二、Revision 1. Chant together. 设计意图:复习学过的歌曲,提高学生的学习兴趣。
2.Let the Ss find out the sounds of the letters. T: For example, a is for apple. 三、Presentation
1.Watch a short video. 设计意图:通过观看小视频,让学生初识ow的发音/аu /,提高他们
的学习兴趣。
T: Now ,let’s watch a short video .Who can tell me what can you see from the video. S: ow发/аu /
2.Point out the topic we will learn today. The sound of “ow”. 3.Show a word calendar, lead the Ss to read the words. 设计意图:借用小游戏,让学生在轻松气氛中将刚才ow的发音/аu /,自主读出单词。
T: I have a words calendar, ow /аu /,/k / /аu /, /kаu /
Ss read after me. Using the same method, let the Ss read the other words: how, wow, down, brown , flower 4.Devide the Ss into three groups. Have a competition. Let the Ss read the words by themselves. Let some Ss read. 5.The teacher show the letters, the Ss read the words. The teacher write them on the B.b. 设计意图:通过小组进行比赛,让学生积极参与。
6.Show some PPt, Ask some Ss to read: now, town, clown, crown , crowd, power, shower, towel 设计意图:拓展练习,通过练习ow的发音/аu /,看到单词能够自主读出来。
7.Listen to the chant twice. Fill in the blanks. 8.Listen to the chant. Check up the answers. And read the chant twice.
9.Circle the words with /аu /. 设计意图:通过学习歌谣,让学生对新学的单词进行操练和巩固。
10.Read by small groups. Let some groups read. Read the whole class. 四、Sum up. Let one student say, ow and ou sound
