I Teaching aims: 1. Ss can listen, read and say the following words: hungry, lunch room, know, full. 2. Ss can ask and answer the following sentences: Is that the music room? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. Is this the computer room? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.
3.Ss can listen and understand “story time” and try to act it out. II Teaching keys and difficulties: Teaching keys: Ss can listen, read and say “story
time”
Teaching difficulties: Ss can understand “story time” and act it out. III Teaching procedures: Step 1: Warm up sing an English song “Our school”
Step 2: Review 1. Game: Who is faster?
2.Task1: Ask and answer: Where is the…? It’s on the first/second floor. Is this/that…? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.
Step 3: Lead-in: Show a picture of lunch room and say : Zoom is interested in Lunch room. Why? Lead in story time. Step 4: Presentation: 1.Task2: Listen and circle(listen and answer two questions)
a. How many places do they visit ? What are they? b. Where is Zoom? 2.Listen and repeat Step 5: Practice: 1.act in groups 2.Task3: act in class Step 6: Consolidation: Task4:What have learnt today? Can you read? Step 7: Extension: Fill in the blanks according to the pictures.
Step 8: Homework: Write at least 5 sentences to introduce our school.
