教材分析：

仁爱英语八年级下学期Unit 5 Topic 2 Section A。这是第五单元第二课题的第一课时。本节课以听、说训练为主。通过Helen和Miss Wang的对话，讨论李红难过的心情来复习巩固系表结构的用法，并学习由because引导的原因状语从句，引导学生关心他人的内心感受。

教学目标：复习巩固系表结构的用法，并学习由because引导的原因状语从句，引导学生关心他人的内心感受。

教学重点：巩固系表结构，because引导的原因状语从句

教学难点：巩固系表结构，because引导的原因状语从句

教学过程：

问候——Good morning,everyone! How’s the weather today? It’s rainy. I don’t like it.

I feel sad. I feel sad because it’s rainy.

复习——通过词汇竞赛、翻译练习来复习话题1的重点内容导入——①在复习系表结构的基础上，呈现课本第二部分的图片，让学生根据图片内容写出相关的系表结构短语。

②引导学生进一步讨论图片内容，用问题“Why…?”引入because引导的原因状语从句的学习。

P1 Look! What are the children doing? They’re playing. And what about the girl ? She’s sitting there alone. Maybe she feels lonely. She has no friends here.

Why does she feel lonely? She feels lonely because she has no friends. P2 Look at the boy. What’s the feeling of him? He is angry. Do you know why? Because his pen is lost. Why does he get angry? He gets angry because his pen is lost. P3 Who are they? Can you guess? Maybe they are mother and son. The boy is ill. The mother seems worried. Why does she seem worried? She seems worried because her son is ill. P4 What are they doing? They’re seeing a movie. They are excited. Maybe the movie is interesting/wonderful. Why are they excited? They are excited because the movie is interesting. P5 What’s the time? It’s 12 o’clock in the evening. The boy has too much homework to do , but he is very tired. Why does he look tired? He looks tired because he has too much homework to do . P6 The girl is sad . Do you know why? Oh ,the buildings fell down. The terrible earthquake. Why does she feel sad?

She feels sad because the buildings in her school fell down.

呈现——①呈现课本1a的图片，介绍图片中的人物，引导学生进行讨论：人物的心情感受及原因。

②利用图片教学生词：shy, exam, be strict with。

巩固——①学生听对话并完成1b的表格，了解1a的内容。

②学生观看动画，听录音跟读对话。

③讨论1c的问题，进行更多的口头练习。

④引导学生自主归纳1a的重点，并复述其内容。

练习——①课堂巩固练习。

小结——引导学生自主归纳本课重点词汇、句型及知识点。

拓展——学生谈论自己心情不好时的原因及处理方式。
