Greeting the class and let the Ss talk about the pictures in 3a on page 44 T: Good morning, boys and girls ! T: Who came to school by bike today ? Step 1.

T: Do you think it is dangerous to travel by bike ? T:I disagree with you . It can be dangerous if you are a careless bicycle rider. Look at the pictures in 3a on page 44 . Discuss in groups and complete the sentences.You have 2 minutes only . T:Now , let’s check if you did correctly .

Encourage the Ss to tell the whole story in class . Finish 3b. T: Well done. Now you know very well about the pictures. Next, I’d like you to tell the whole story with the help of the information in Step 2.

3a. But you should use the adverbial clauses of time. I will give you one minute to prepare. Go ahead ! T: Time to see who is a good story teller. Volunteers, please .

Step 3.

Talk with the Ss about how to ride safely to lead to 1a and learn some new words . T: From 3a , we learned that riding bikes is not always safe. Bicycle accidents may happen if the rider is careless, or disobey the traffic rules, or even wears improperly. Do you know anything about cycling equipment ? T: A helmet. What else? T: Yes. A light is necessary if you like riding at night . Do you have to wear special clothes if you ride at night? T：Cycling clothes may help you look cool, but they may be expensive, too. You can wear light-colored clothes instead if you have to ride at night .

Step 4.

Let the Ss listen to 1a and finish 1b. T:We talked about a bicycle accident at the beginning of this lesson. Now, KangKang and his friends are talking about an accident, too. Listen to their conversation and finish 1b. T: Are you ready to check the answers ? T:No.1 , xxx, please.

Step 5.

Let the Ss read 1a and find out the adverbial clauses of condition, the sentences about giving advice and the difficult points. T: You have listened to 1a, next please read the dialog. While reading, try to find out the adverbial clauses of condition, the sentences about giving advice and the difficult points. T: Has everyone finished reading ?

T: OK , first, who can tell us the adverbial clauses of condition ?

T: Perfect. What about advice?

T: Wonderful . Do you have any problems ? T: It means you will ...

Step 6. Let the Ss discuss in pairs the result of breaking the traffic rules with “If”

T: We have learned the adverbial clause of condition. Next ,I’d like you to discuss the pictures in 2a. You can follow the example on the Bb. I will give you some minutes to practice. Then I will choose some pairs to present in class. (Example:) A:What will happen if I ... B:If you..., you will ... T: Hey ! Show time now ! Be brave boys and girls !

Ask the Ss match the two parts of sentences to make traffic rules. Then check the answers in class.

T: Excellent performance . Keep going . Next, read the sentences in 2b, and match the two parts together. Anybody wants a try?

Encourage the Ss to summarize the key points T:You have done very well . Now, Let’s go over and summarize.What have you learned today.

T: Right! Now do you know how to ride safely? T: Maybe. Let me check . What will happen if you play with your friends while you are riding on the street?

Step 7. Assign the HMK. T: For today’s HMK, I’d like to make some rules for our school and our class .You should use the adverbial clause of condition as many as possible .

课后教学反思及改进思路

首先，我通过谚语激发学生的学习兴趣，然后再复习有关的知识。在教学中，较好地体现了教师的主导作用和学生的主体作用。为学生提供了较多参与教学过程、展示才华的机会。

其次，在教学环节的实施过程中，我还存在着不足之处：

1.自身的语言组织不是很好，使得各个环节之间衔接不是很紧密。

2. 展示方法不够多样、灵活，不只是黑板展示，这样可给学生留许多展示的机会和平台。

3.板书的设计实际下来不是很美观，我认为还需要进一步研究。

最后，我想说一下我今后的努力方向：

1.多学习相关知识，多与其他教师交流，提高自己的业务能力。

2.在教学环节上，我认为自己的教学设计还不是很好，所以在今后的教学过程中，我应多听课，多看优质课视频，多学习，力求打造“高效魅力课堂”。

3.学会大胆放手，把握好课堂生成，把课堂还给学生，老师只作指导，让学生主载课堂。
