Step1 Warming up

Greeting

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Zhang.

T: How are you today?

Ss: I’m fine, thanks. And you?

T: I’m very well, thank you.

Step2 Presentation

1.(1)Revise the words of clothes.

T:Let’s play a game,OK?I give you one word,you give me many words. Ss:OK!

T:Colour!

Ss:Red,green,yellow......

T:Clothes!

Ss:Shirt,cap,sweater.....

Show the clothes pictures and say together.

(2)Practice : Let the students try to say sentences in the front of the classroom.

2.Revise the words“new” and “old”

T:Show a new sweater and say:This is a sweater.Is it new?

S1:Yes,it is.

T:This is a new sweater.

Let the students practice the sentences.

3.Revise the sentences Is this your\her\his....?Are these

your\her\his....?

(1)T:I found some clothes .But I don’ t know whose clothes they are. (Hold a cap and walk to one student and ask:)

T:Is this your cap?

S1:No,it isn’t.

T: Is this his cap?

S1: Yes,it is.

(Hold the trousers and ask)

T:Are these your trousers?

S2:No,they aren’t.

T:Are these her trousers?

S2:Yes,they are.

(2)Practice in pairs.

5.Make dialogues in groups and act out in front of the class.
