I.Warm up 1. Free talk ：T：What are you going to do this weekend？

S1: I’m going to…….

II. Presentation

(Page 12) （More Reading and writing）

1.T：Turn to Page 12, let’s look at these questions：

A. What is May going to do this weekend? B. What is the money for? C. Where does John come from ?

Now reading with these questions. I’ll give you ten minutes.

Good. Who can answer Q2？

S2：The money is for the Seniors’ Center

3. T translates the passage to let the Ss know more about the text.

III. Writing task

1. Draw a mind map around the topic---My Weekend Plan

2. Try to write down your own weekend plan according to the mind map

3. Share your plan with your plan.

IV. Practice

1. Finish the Part 3 and Part 4 on P17.
