第三课时
一、教学目标
1.能够听懂会说会读音标|dʒ| |ʌ| |i| |ɔ|和例词,进一步掌握发音。
2. 激发学生学习英语的兴趣,鼓励学生积极主动参与课堂,大胆开口,帮助他们建立学习的 成就感和自信心。
3. 学会帮助学习上有困难的学生,共同进步。
二、教学重点,难点。
1. i 的发音|i|,与以前|ai|发音的区别。
2. 正确理解和掌握音素的读音,并且能根据音素读准单词和句子。
三、教学准备
VCD, PPT, masks, pictures and words cards
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warm- up. 1. Sing a song: Socks! Let the students sing the song together. 2. Review the words and sentences: (1)Make a situation : I’m Gogo. Today’s my birthday ,
I get so many presents. I’m so happy.
(2)Ask and guides the students answer the questions. Where’s the . . . ? It’s . . . .
Where are the. . . ? They’re . . . .
(3)guides the students to ask and answer the questions. (通过这一环节,可以培养学生学习英语的情绪,营造英语学习的氛围,通过歌曲中socks和under初步接触o和u的发音,为之后环节的字母发音教学做好铺垫)
Step 2 Lead-in & Presentation
1.Show some pictures and lead out the words: T: What’s that? S: It’s a jacket.
Then pay attention the sound: j|dʒ|Let’s read and feel these sound one by one. 2.Then check some students to read them.(
以新课程理念里学习上要以学生为主题,让学生在发现中学习知识。能够熟记字母j的发音规则,并利用读音规律拼读单词) T: Where is the pencil? (show pictures) Ss: It’s on /in /under the box.
Then pay attention the sound: u |ʌ|, i |i| , o|ɔ|
Let’s read and feel these sounds one by one.
Then check some students to read them.
3.Use the same way and lead out the other words: juice |dʒ| , uncle |ʌ|, tennis |i| , dog|ɔ| (通过以上的学习,学生基本上已经知道了的发音规则。下一步,意在给学生机会,用自己的方式去学习知识,还给学生学习的主动权.)
4. Let’s make a new chant like this:
|dʒ|---jacket, |dʒ| ---juice; |ʌ|---under, |ʌ| ---uncle; |i| |i|----in, |i| |i|---tennis. |ɔ||ɔ|----on, |ɔ||ɔ|---dog. Then chant group by group. 5. Use the song and chant to teach and practice the words. 6.Listen to the words and read after the tape. 7.Try to find more words like these sounds: |dʒ|---jump, Jenny, jeep, jelly……..
|ʌ|--- umbrella, unhappy,number,……
|i| -- - is, it, this, big, six,pillow,pink,window,……
|ɔ|--- hot, not, soccer,box,clock,……(让学生接触更多的单词,巩固所学的发音规则。)
Step 3 Practice
1.Look at the teacher’s mouth and guess the words:
2.Listening exercise: listen and circle the words. 3.Listen and number the words: jacket( ) under( ) in( ) dog( ) juice ( ) uncle( ) tennis( ) on ( ) Then check the right answers together. 4.Look and write the words on the books P41.
Step 4 Extension
Passage reading. T: I can find out many |i|words in the follow passage. Can you find them out?
Today is a windy day,we will go hiking.I want to eat an ice cream. We will fly a big kite. There are nine kites in the sky.They are all pink. Step 5 Summary . Brief summarizes and read the sounds and new words. Step 6 Homework (1) Read these sounds and words to your parents. (2) Copy these words twice on Exbook. (3) Use the words to make a chant or a song you like. 五、板书设计
