Unit 8 Counting

教学目标

1、

知识与能力目标：

学生能够听、说、读新授的单词，如thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, 并且能够综合运用句型“How many …… are there? There are ……”。通过对该课的学习，学生能够提高自身的口语能力，并且能够询问他人。

过程与方法目标：

学生在学习新词的过程中，能够在单词与事物之间建立联想，了解记忆单词的方法。

情感、态度与价值观目标：

通过对该节课的学习，学生可以对所学的数字脱口而出，能够熟练的表达。

教学过程

Step1: Warming up T: Good morning, boys and girls.

(The teacher will show some pictures, and then students will count and answer the questions.) Free Talk T: What can you see?

S: I can see……

T: How many ……can you see? Let’s count it. One, two, three,……twelve. I can see twelve ……

Step2: Presentation

Learn new words: thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty (2)

Grammar The teacher will ask “How many …… are there?” After students’ answers, the teacher needs to write

“How many …… are there?” on the blackboard and say “There are ……” . Students will be asked to make dialogues based on these sentence patterns with their partners.

Step3: Consolidation The teacher will ask questions: How many …… are there? All the students are possible to be asked to answer the question. Step4: Summary and Homework Summary: The teacher will show the cards of words and the sentences to guide students to read and review. Homework: The teacher asks students to write new words.
