Dreams

一.教案背景:

当今社会,迫于社会压力,有不少人提出,我们年轻的一代已经是没有梦想的一代,一切的梦想都只是空谈,我们必须向现实低头,梦想不是被丢掷一边,就是变成“钱”,看到这种现状,作为一个教育工作者,深感责任的重大,拥有梦想是人生最美丽的事情之一,小时候的梦想总是很简单,也许只是吃一串葫芦,买一个布娃娃,或者抓到一只蝴蝶。这些梦想在现在看来也许十分幼稚可笑,但是,那却代表着童真年代最真挚的愿望,代表着那个时候纯净得没有丝毫杂质的内心。再长大一点,上学之后,梦想也改变了,变成了考试考100分,得到老师表扬,作文在全班朗读……当然,还有考上重点高中、重点大学,这个时期的梦想,已经完全被升学的压力所覆盖了。那么面对这种现状,在小学进行远大梦想的教育,我想,有着深远的意义。

英国剑桥大学出版社

五年级 Unit 3 Dreams

三.教材分析:

Join In 是英国剑桥大学出版社2000年最新出版的教材,本教材是以非英语国家的少年儿童为学习对象,以“Gardner 多元智能理论”作为编写的主导思想。Tiger Toby 贯穿整本书。本课的主要内容是谈论自己的梦和梦想,巩固一般现在时的用法。

听说法,情景教学法,任务教学法

五.教学过程:

一).教学目标:

1. 语言知识目标:

能够听,说,认读本课的重点单词:often,sometimes,never,fly,spaceman,friend

等。

能够利用I often / never/ sometimes dream of/ that 句型描述自己的梦境或者梦想。2.语言能力目标:

能根据图片谈论相应的单词,能够熟练地运用I often / never/ sometimes dream of/ that 谈论自己的梦想和所梦到的事物。

3.情感,策略和文化目标:

培养学生的学习英语的兴趣,积极合作的精神,引导学生谈论自己的美好梦想,并为之努力。

能够掌握和应用:I often/sometimes/never/dream…

三).教学用具:

多媒体课件,卡片,图片,视频,歌曲

四).教学过程:

1.热身运动,激发兴趣

1)Let’s sing and dance: Jive

(设计意图:这首歌节奏欢快,简单易唱,通过这首歌营造课堂气氛,并通过做动作让学生的细胞跟着活跃起来。)

2)Free talk:How are you today?

What are you doing on Sunday?

What do we need if we want to have a party?

(设计意图:通过闲谈,复习之前的知识,激发他们的英语学习热情,为下面的语言学习做铺垫。)

2.文化渗透,引人主题:

1)Write“ Dreams ”on the board,let students guess its meaning:“梦到” by teacher’s guest.

2)Watching Martin Luther king ‘s speech《 I have a dream 》,after seeing the video,let students know its second meaning “梦想”.

(设计意图:通过学生自主猜测含义,能更好地激发学生的学习积极性,而且联系到美国

黑人英雄的演讲,通过文化拓展让学生不但学会这个单词,还能了解到英文的文化,将单词与情境结合,让学生学得更加牢固。)

3.教师示范,呈现新知:

1)游戏导入新句型: I dream of…..,发人思考。

T: Yesterday, I had a dream. And can you guess what did I dream?

I dream of …….. (Let the students guess what I dreamed)

S: monsters, frogs, tigers, elephants, ski, play football………

(设计意图:通过让学生来猜我昨晚梦到什么,给学生进行一次头脑风暴巩固旧知识,同时也鼓励学生开口说英语,让他们初步感知新句型I dream of ……等学完新知后,可以让学生自己把回答的内容归类,让他们动手动脑自主操作,加深印象,让整个猜测的内容贯穿整节课。)

2)操练新词和新句型,词不离句,句不离词。

Show students different pictures,drill a train to practice new words each time and then write: often, sometimes, never on the board, guide the Ss talk about sentences like:

T: look at the picture and word; now tell me how does” m” say? ............ Ss:”m” says [m]……..monkey.

T: good, now Group One and Group Two please stand up and read the new words. Ss: monkey, monkey………

3)层层深入,学习新句型:I dream that…..并让学生在语境中总结两者的不同。Teacher shows students the sentence structure:

I often dream that…….

T: I often dream that I can fly.

S: I often dream that I can fly.

………….

T: ok, students, after so many examples, now can you tell me the differences between “I dream of….” and “ I dream that….”?

S: Yes, “I dream of ..”can add something, like monkeys. But “I dream that…”should add a sentence.

T: Bingo, how smart you are!

4. 回归课本,深入学习.

T: Ok, now open your book and look at Unit 3 part 1, please read out the sentence

one by one after the tape.

Ss: I dream that I can fly. I dream of spacemen…………..

T: Well done! Now, please add sometimes/ never/ often into each sentence, and pay

attention to their right position. After you finish, please read it out.

Ss: I often dream that I can fly…………

(设计意图:再次回归课本,让学生感知本节课的重点。并将句子拆成两部分,先读I dream of / that ……再让学生添加often或者never等,可以让学生很清晰地知道这个句子的是怎样组成的,符合从易到难的认知规律。)

5.同伴学习,语言输出.

Pair work:Tell your partners what your dream is with the hints on the board. And then invite some of them to put on their performance.

.(设计意图:通过课件给予学生提示,降低了难度,使得学生敢于开口说英语,乐于开口说英语,同时,同伴之间互相分享梦想,使得学习变成一件轻松快乐的事情,也培养了他们的合作精神。)

6. 小组合作,巩固新知。

Write two sentence structures on the board: I dream that….

I dream of…….

Ss work in 4 to classify what they have guessed in the Game”Guess what Miss Wang dreamed last night.” Into this two sentence structures. And then invite some of them to present their result.

( 设计意图:培养学生小组合作精神,给予他们小组讨论的任务,将在呈现新知时他们所猜的名词或者动词重新归类到两个新学的句型中来,能够做到首尾呼应,很好地巩固了新知识。)

Homework:

1)Share their dreams with their parents.

2)Do a survey:Ask three students about their dreams,and make up a short dialogue. 7.板书设计:

教学反思:

1)语言跟文化是分不开的,本节课注重对学生英语文化方面的渗透,使学生不但知其然而且知其所以然。以美国黑人英雄这个事例引人新主题,能很好地勾起学生学习的好奇心和兴趣。

2)本节课主要是描述自己的梦境或者梦想,让学生掌握:I often/ never/ sometimes dream of / that 的句型。从而会运用一般现在时的句子。本节课教学过程注重了各环节的紧密联系,以一个游戏贯穿整节课,起到温故而知新的作用。整节课坚持从易到难,从表象到深入,很好地完成了教学目标。

3)本节课注重了学生听说读的能力培养,自主合作能力的培养,越显不足之处是学生对句子的结构掌握得还不是特别熟练,有时候often/ sometimes 等容易放错位置,以后要加强练习巩固。
