● Good morning, my dear judges. I am Zhong Na, from Xinjin. I’m glad to interpret my teaching design here.

● The teaching content is lesson 1 of Unit 5 of PEP Primary English, Book5.

This unit is mainly about clothes.

Now, I will explain the lesson from the following aspects.

Teaching aims教学目标 (根据具体内容定目标和要求) Secondly,I set the following aims.

① The first one is language knowledge.

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to read, recognize, and write these words: cap,coat，sweater，jacket，gloves，trousers in 4 wire grid.

And, these sentences: What should I wear today? You should wear...

② The second one is language skills.

By the end of the lesson, Ss can understand the this is…and These are...

Ss are able to talk about the seasons ,weather and clothes.

Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking will be developed.

③ The third one is emotional aim.

In this lesson, the emotional aim is inspiring compassion of Ss’.Teach Ss what is love.I will divide them into 4 groups,spring,summer,autumn,winter.

To foster Ss’ consciousness of good-cooperation and proper competition.

And, it is about the students.

Our students are in Grade 3.

They are active and curious, interested in new things.what’s more,they are so kind,warmhearted.

After learning English for several years, they have some basic English background knowledge, so the teacher should provid them the chances of using language.

It is not difficult for them to understand and use the language.

4. Teaching focus and difficult points 教学重难点（学生须掌握的基本技能和知识）

Fourthly， The main points of this lesson is the key words:cap,coat，sweater，jacket，gloves，trousers.

To make sure that Ss can wear correctly and skillfully to develop Ss’

interest in English.

it talks about teaching methods and Study methods. In this lesson, I will mainly use “Task-based teaching method”,“Situation teaching method”

，“Communicative language teaching method”

and “TPR teaching method”, and so on. And they are active, so they like TPR.Lu Xun said palying games is the nature of children.

Ss will be good at “cooperation learning method” and“three in one learning method”,because I always divide them into 4 groups..By the way,I always say SSS and they say /s//s//s/ and so on.

Next, let’s focus on the teaching process

I will finish the lesson in 6 steps.

Step 1. Greetings and Warming-up.

It will cost about 3 mins.

After greeting with the Ss, I will begin the lesson by singing the song who is wearing yellow today together with the Ss.

Step 2. Presentation It will cost about 10 mins. Lost and Found.I will show a dress,then ask the Ss whose dress is it? I will show trousers,then ask the Ss whose trousers are they? I will show matches,then ask the Ss whose matches are they? Listening to the music, let’s guess who is she? Afer listening, Ss know that she is little match girl .she is very cold, asking Ss what should

wear?

I will present each new word one by one. Pay attention,singular form and plural form,they are different. I set a situation of little match girl

Andersen The purpose of this to stimulate the Ss’ interests of the lesson. which relates to the Ss’childhood fairy,to help the Ss understand the language easily and naturally.

Step3. Practice It will cost 15 mins. Ss hold fashion show in groups to show their clothes.Then, introduce them one by one.look.I’m wearing …Pay attention，I wear hat,glasses，earrings…) The activity is to develop Ss’

ability of communication, and cooperation.

Step 4. 5mins

Making a new dialogue including 4 seasons (by ppt) is to check if Ss can use It’s …and I wear…correctly and skillfully.I will give Ss a free space to show their abilities.

Task-based teaching method and Communicative language teaching are used here.

Step 5. Conclusion

Eeveryting is OK.But Sometimes it’s suprise,maybe 1boy wants to say I wear shirt,but he said I wear skirt.everyone laugh at him.hahaha..If I say in England,boys wear skirt.That would be better.
