Step 1 Warming up:

T:Last class, we went to the park, yes? Ss: Yes. T:What’s exciting in the park ? （PPT：roller coaster、bumper car.）

S1:roller coaster T:This is exciting, yes ? Ss: Yes. T: What’s this ?

S2:bumper car T: This is really fun , yes? Ss: Yes. Step 2 Presentation : T: This class, we are going to a new place, do you want to know where it is ? Ss: Yes. T: OK. This class , we’ll learn Unit5 What about a robot? T: OK. Who can tell me, where is the new place.

What about a…(教师出示钢笔图片，让学生说出单词。) Step 3 consolidation and summary: 1.Role-play 教师创设情境：Kate’s birthday is on Monday. John’s birthday is on Tuesday. 每两人一组，分别为John和Kate的两个朋友。以本课所学对话为基础展开练习对话并进行表演。

2.T: Today what did you learn? (找学生自由回答) Step 4 Homework : 1.Copy new words for three times. 2.Make sentences with new learned words.
