What Do You Want to Be?
教材分析:
本课主要讨论未来想从事的职业。重点学习句型和单词pilot, plane, engineer,spaceship及What do you want to be? 通过学生感知、体验、参与和合作培养学生交际能力、口语表达能力和朗读能力,营造和谐、民主的课堂氛围,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生的合作意识和主动参与的精神。
学情分析:
对于学生来说,本课的单词句子属初次接触,五年级的小学生对英语学习的兴趣已没有三、四年级那么浓,枯燥无味的操练对于他们来说效果并不好,他们喜欢运用多种有趣的形式和方法来学习英语,所以本课应注意从学生的实际情况出发,采用多种趣味操练的方法让他们乐学。
教学目标:
1.运用图片、录音创设情境,能听懂、会说本课的对话
。
2.能自由讨论未来想从事的职业。
3.能掌握重点句型和单词pilot, plane, engineer,spaceship及What do you want to be?
4、通过学生感知、体验、参与和合作培养学生交际能力、口语表达能力和朗读能力。
教学重点:
能听说认读重点句型和单词pilot, plane, engineer,spaceship及What do you want to be?及回答
教学难点:
在实践中熟练区分运用What do you want to be? 和What do you want to do? 表演课文对话。
教学准备:
课件图片及单词卡、录音磁带。
教学过程:
I. Warming up
T: Hello, boys and girls.

T: How is it going?
Ss: Just great.
II.Learning
T: Now please answer my questions: What do you usually do after school?
S1: I usually watch TV.
S2: I usually do my homework.
S3: I usually play football.
S4: I usually practice the violin.
