Step 1 warm up

Step 2 Presentation 1 Pre-reading 教师出示Ａ部分的三幅挂图，并提出问题，让学生根据已有的信息对文章的内容进行预测。

What was Lingling doing? (Lingling was dancing) What did Anne want to do? (Anne wanted to dance) 图2，提出问题

Can Lingling dance very well? (Yes, she can dance very well) 图3，提出问题

Can Anne dance very well? Why? 经过讨论，学生一致认为：Anne can’t dance very well because she fell over.

教师对于学生的推断给予充分肯定，同时又抛出新问题：What happened then? 学生们纷纷猜测结局，答案五花八门。带着好奇心，学生开始阅读故事。

二、教学重难点

重点：在D部分教学中复习和巩固已经学过的词汇和句型。熟练运用“be going to do something”和“will do something ”。难点：在实际生活中正确运用表达人物的意愿。

三、教学准备

茶杯，单词卡片，教学录音等。

四、教学过程

Step 1Warning up 1．Have a greeting. 2．Duty report. 3．Use word cards to revise:

stand on one foot, read a story aloud, paint a picture.; play a piano; move…with music, step on one’s foot.

Step 2 Presentation and drill 1．出示茶杯。

（喝水的样子）T: I am thirsty. I want to drink some water.

（饥饿的样子）T: I feel hungry. I want to have lunch.

（疲惫状）T: I am very tired. I want to go to bed.

板书I want to drink some water/have lunch/go to bed.带读。

2．询问学生What do you want to do? 帮助回答“I want to … …”，并把学生的名字和回答写在黑板上。

3．E部分。

1）看图片，口头回答问题。运用句型“want to do something”

1)引导学生就课文内容回答问题。然后两人一组根据个人的周末计划，操练句型“I want to… …”。

2)学生独立完成D部分习题

Step 3 Practice Play a game. 叫一名学生在老师的暗示下做动作，其他的学生用“He/She wants to.. …”猜他在做什么。然后分成两大组进行游戏，一组派一名学生上台做动作，另一组猜他做的什么动作，猜对的给笑脸，看看哪一组的笑脸多。

Step4 Consolidations 1．F部分，Let’s sing

1) 播放F部分的歌曲It’s a Small World，学生听。

2）说歌曲，让学生明白laughter and tears, hope and fears的含义。

五、作业布置：
