【教学文本】

The Spring Festival The Spring Festival is an important festival in China. It usually comes in January or February. People also call it the Chinese New Year. People buy new clothes and traditional food before the Spring Festival.

On New Year’s Eve, families have a big dinner together. They often eat dumplings.

People visit their relatives and friends. Children can get money in red envelopes. People also watch colourful fireworks at night.

The Spring Festival is an important festival in China. It comes in the first lunar month. The weather is so cold. People also call it the Chinese New Year.

People buy new clothes and traditional food before the Spring Festival. They also clean the house and paste the Spring Festival couplets. On New Year’s Eve, families have a big dinner together. They often eat dumplings or New Year cake.
