1. 能听、说、读、写四会单词see a doctor, do more exercise, wear warm clothes, take a deep breath, count to ten。

2. 能够正确运用上述单词，结合具体语境，给他人提出合适的建议。

3．能够通过Play card games的内容情景，用What should I do? You should…进行交际问答。

Important &difficult points(重难点) 重点：能听、说、读、写四会单词see a doctor, do more exercise, wear warm clothes, take a deep breath, count to ten。

难点：

（1）能够正确运用上述单词，结合具体语境，给他人提出合适的建议。

（2）能够通过Play card games的内容情景，用What should I do? You should…进行交际问答。

Step 1 Warm-up Show the pictures of some people with different expression. Review the words about feelings: worried, sad, angry, happy, ill, afraid.

Q: How does he/she feel?

(1) see a doctor

Look, who are they? Where are they? How does Chen Jie feel?

Chen Jie is ill/not well. She should see a doctor. So Miss White says:

You should see a doctor.

Ss learn to say.

(2) do more exercise Look, who are they? Where are they? What class is Wu Yifan having?

How does Wu Yifan feel? He is tired. He can’t run fast.

Ss learn to read.

(3) wear warm clothes Look, who are they? Where are they? What’s the weather like?

How does Mike feel? He’s cold.

What will Mike’s mum say? You should wear warm clothes. Ss learn to read.

(4) take a deep breath & count to ten Look, who are they? How does Oliver feel?

What will John say? You should take a deep breath and count to ten. 2. Listen and repeat.

Step 3 Practice 1. Let’s talk. Make mini dialogs according to the picture and phrases. E.g.

Miss White: Chen Jie, what’s wrong?

Chen Jie: I’m ill/not well.

Miss White: Oh, you should see a doctor.

Ss have a pair work. Choose a picture and talk.

Then invite 4-5 groups to show their dialogs. 2. Pair work. A: How do you feel?

B: I’m______. /I feel ________.

A: What’s wrong? B: ______________. A: Don’t be _______. You should __________.

Ss try to make dialogs in pairs.

Step 4 Assignment 1. Listen to the tape and repeat.

2. Make 5 sentence with the new phrases.
