教学过程
Step 1 Preparation 1. Sing a song. 2. Free talk T: Look at Winnie. Ask Winnie what’s the matter and show the title.
Step 2. Presentation & Practice
(Listen to the dialogue between Liu Tao and Winnie) T: What does Liu Tao want to do?
Look at Liu Tao. He is not happy. What’s the matter?
Can you guess and ask? S: Are you…? T: What do his parents think of him? 1.
Watch and match. T: What do his parents think of him? P: His father thinks he is hungry. P: His mother thinks he is ill. T: Can you read the sentences his parents say? 2.
Read and underline T: His parents think he is hungry and ill. What’s the matter with Liu Tao on earth? Open your books, read and underline the sentences. Then read in your groups. P: I’m thirsty. P: I’m tired. 3.
Read and choose
T: We know Liu Tao is thirsty and tired. What does he want to do? Now read it again and choose the correct answer.
