【教材分析】
教材共分5个板块,第一版块Listen,look and say.呈现了表示动物的图turtle和形容词fast与slow。第二版块 Work in pairs. 中呈现了“Who is fast / slow? The rabbit is fast. The turtle is slow.”两组问答对话和情境图。第三版块 Listen and check.出示了四组图和录音材料,供学生进行听音选图的练习和检测。第四版块 Listen to the riddle. 提供了谜语一则,配有动物图片两张。第五版块 Let’s sing! 设计了本课功能句的歌曲一首。
【学情分析】
1.学生前三课已经学习了疑问句Who has...? 以及 Who is thin/fat?等句型,并能够用The ...has ...以及The...is ...等描述性语言进行回答。
2.学生已经学习了三组反义词 big/small, long/short, fat/thin。
3.学生善于观察、模仿,喜欢表演,因此本课设计采用灵活多样的教学方法,让学生在表演中体会fast/slow,达到“玩中学,学中想,想中用”的效果。
【教学目标】
1. 知识目标:
(1) New Words: fast,slow Words Revision: long, short, big, small, fat, thin, rabbit, sloth,horse, cow, (2) Sentence structure: Who is fast/slow? _____ is fast/slow. 2.情感目标: (1)让学生体验学习“快和慢”以及学习英语的乐趣。
(2)让学生通过故事《龟兔赛跑》感知“不要骄傲自大,坚持才是胜利”的道理。
3. 能力目标:
(1)让学生可以用快慢描述动物及交通工具,并明白“快和慢”是相对概念而非绝对概念。
(2)补充科学知识,让学生了解世界上最快的动物
(3)通过思考题结合数学知识,让学生感知“快与慢”描述的是速度。并让学生理解“快
与慢”在生活实际中的应用。
【教学重点】

The revision of animals and adjectives: rabbit, cow, horse,snake... 【教学难点】

/. 2.The words fast and slow can not only be used to describe the animals but also to describe transportations。 3.Fast and slow are not absolute, they are relative. 【教学准备】

1. Greetings and Warming-up Let’s sing a song together! T: Hello! Boys and girls! Good morning! S: Good morning! Uta! T: How are you today? S: I’m happy, thank you. And you? T: I’m great, thank you. Before we start our class, let’s sing a song, ok?
【设计意图】教师与学生互动,通过歌曲的由慢到快首次感知快与慢。说明分组与奖励形式。2. Revision and Lead in.
T: Now, let’s play a game, Let's see, who has fast eyes! (1)
See and shout out the words. (2)
See and shout out the opposite words. T: You did a good job! And today we are going to have a PK, if you are good, you can get more animals. 【设计意图】通过游戏
制。本课课堂奖励机制为让学生上黑板贴动物,但学生上黑板前需听从教师指令,完成相关任务后才可加分,让学生从肢体感觉上完成对fast和slow的学习。
T: Today,I want you to meet one of my friends. She is thin. She has a short tail. She has long ears and big eyes. She can jump and she can run. Who is she? S: Rabbit/Judy. T:Excellent! Do you like Judy? Let’s watch a video about Judy.
3. New Words and Sentences.
T: What is Judy doing? S: Running/Jumping/Climbing. T: Yes, and Judy is very____? S: Fast. T: Look at this one, Do you know him? S: Yes! Sloth! T: Is the sloth fast? Let’s check!
Show pictures of the rabbit and the sloth. T: Who is fast? S: The _____ is fast. T: Who is slow? S: The _____ is slow. T: Fast and slow, they are ? S: Opposites. 3.1出示词卡 fast 1) Teach the pronunciation of fast. 2) Spell fast on the blackboard.
3) Pass the ball and say fast. T: Who is fast/slow? S: Team 1 is fast. Team 3 is slow. 3.2出示词卡slow 1)Teach the pronunciation of slow. 2)Spell slow on the blackboard. 3.3出示图片两两对比练习句型
T: Who is fast/slow? S: The _____ is fast. The _____is slow. 【设计意图】通过出示不同动物,训练学生问答句型。并通过评价方式让学生通过模仿和比赛在玩中学,进一步感知fast and slow. 3.4 Think and Answer Picture1: Look, Two students are having a PK now, Who is fast?
Picture2: One is riding a bike, one is driving a car, who is fast? Picture3: Wow, there is a traffic jam, who is fast? 将快慢问题引入生活实际中,让学生们知道快慢是相对的,而非绝对的。
并且在一定条件下,原本的快也可以是变慢。
3.5 Work in pairs S1: Who is fast? S2:The _____ is fast. Who is slow?
S1:The _____ is slow. 【设计意图】让学生巩固所学语言,畅所欲言发挥想象力,加强语言运用。
3.5 Sing a song and have some relax. 【设计意图】
通过歌曲进一步复习 fast and slow, 学中唱,唱中学。
4. Knowledge Expansion 4.1 Think and Order T: Look, we have many animals here, what animal do you like? Tell me sth about it? S: I like snail, it has a big shell. T: Good, please put it in the right place. T: Do you know this man? He is Bolt. The Cheetah and Bolt is going to have a PK,
Who is fast? Who is slow?
S: Bolt is fast, the Cheetah is slow. T: let’s check by the video.
4.Story Time T: You are super! Let’s enjoy a story. Look! Who are they? S: The turtle and the rabbit. 4.1 Find some opposites T: Yes. Look at the picture carefully, can you find some opposites? For example, the rabbit has big eyes, the turtle has small eyes. S1: The rabbit has long legs. The turtle has short legs. S2: The rabbit is fast. The turtle is slow. 4.2 let’s talk Ask students to work in pairs and make a dialogue S1: Hello, I am rabbit. S2: Hello, I am turtle. S1: I have long legs, I am fast. S2: I have short legs, I am slow. S1: Let’s PK! S2: OK! ask students to guess who win the PK. 4.3 Show students the story of

Make a new story The rabbit is sad, because he didn’t win. So he wants to have a new PK. This time... 【设计意图】通过观察图片,让孩子们进一步练习整合所学反义词知识输出语言。通过讲述龟兔赛跑的故事引导孩子们思考分析兔子为什么输,乌龟为什么赢,渗透踏实坚持做事才会取得成功的道理。最后通过新龟兔赛跑创编,进一步扎实语言发挥想象。
