能够听、说、认读本课时的重点单词：GPS，gave, feature, follow, far, tell,map, compass, stars 2.

能够读懂“Read and write”部分的对话，熟练掌握几个常用的句型：“Follow me,

please!”“Is it far?”“My new GPS works!”

理解“Read and write”故事内容，掌握几个常用句型“Follow me, please!”“Is it far?”“My GPS works!”，并将其运用于实际交流中。

读懂、理解“Read and write”部分的故事内容，完成练习。

录音机、磁带、图片（星星、指南针、导航仪、星星）

教学步骤

1.

Greetings T: Good morning, boys and girls! Ss: Good morning, teacher! T: Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you, too! 2.

Lead-in：Free talk T: What will you do if you get lost in a place? S1: We can ask the police for help. S2: We can use GPS. T: Good, you are clever. But what should you do if there is nobody else and you also don’t take your phone with you?How can you find the way? S1: We can find our way by looking at the sun or stars. S2: We can look at the trees. ... T: Very good!

教师出示地图、指南针、导航仪、星星的图片。鼓励学生观察并谈论它们各自的作用和特点。然后导入问题“You are in a car. Which of these can help you find a place?”，引导学生回答“GPS”，由此，导入本节课的话题。

3. 讲授新课

1)

让学生打开课本，观察四副图画，并教读单词“map, compass, GPS, stars”

2)

教师播放“Read and write”部分录音，让学生感知并跟读。

3)

教师再次播放录音，一句一停，让学生跟读，及时纠正学生跟读过程中出现的错误

4)

带领学生一起读“Robin has GPS”，逐句讲解，帮助学生理解故事内容，板书重点单词和常用句子并要求学生勾画：单词“gave, feather, in front of, cinema, go straight, turn left, bookstore,behind, hospital, turn right, restaurant, tell”，句子“Follow me, please! My new GPS works!”

帮助学生翻译课后练习题目，引导他们完成练习题。
