教学目标

1. 知识目标

1) 能在具体的语境中综合运用本单元中有关描述衣物和购物的语言。例如：Can I help you? / Welcome! / Welcome next time. / How much is it? / It’s … yuan. / Look at the dress (skirt, sweater, … ) It’s colourful (pretty, cheap, expensive).

2) 能在具体的语境中运用新学的语言。例如：Do a good job! / No problem. / You made a mistake. / You’re fired.

2. 能力目标

要求英语基础好的学生运用故事中的语言讲述和表演故事，并对故事内容进适度拓展；要求英基础一般的学生理解故事内容，并用简单的语言讲述和表演故事；要求英语基础弱的学生理解故事内容，并可以跟录音指图进朗读。

3. 情感目标

激发学生学习英语的兴趣，渗透认真做事情的思想教育。

教学重难点

重点：综合运用本单元所学语言谈论衣物，并进行简单购物活动。例如：

Can I help you? / It’s pretty (colourful,…). How much is it? / It’s … yuan. / It’s cheap. / I’ll take it. 等。

难点：在语境中运用以下句子：Do a good job! / No problem. / You made a mistake. / You’re fired.

教具准备

children’s clothing shop, stationer, bookshop, food shop和toy shop 等商店剪贴图片；教材中有关故事的六幅图；Zoom 和

Miss Sheep 头饰；数字卡片（80，18，69，96）若干套；招聘海报。

教学过程

Step 1：Warming up 1. Let’s chant.

How much is that colourful dress? Very expensive, very expensive. How much is that pretty skirt? Very expensive, very expensive. How much is this yellow shirt? Very cheap, very cheap. Good! I want this shirt. T: Can you chant? No problem?

2. Let's sing “How much is that doggie in the window？”

Step 2：Preview 教师扮演装店老板，举办服装销售人员（由学生扮演）招聘会。在招聘会中引出本课的新句型“Do a good job.”，“

You made a mistake. You’re fired.”，并与学生一起表演购物。

1. Asking for an assistant 1) 教师扮演服装店老板，向学生呈现儿童服装店图片。

T: Now, children. Look, I have a Children’s Clothing Shop. What can you see in the shop? S: I can see ... 2) 教师邀请4名学生到讲台前来，并发给每人一套标有价格的卡片。

T: Children's Day is coming. I’ll be very busy. I need an assistant. 1000 yuan a month. But you must do a good job. Who will try? 教师板书并教学句型：Do a good job. 3) 学生操练接待顾客时的礼貌用语。

4）考查学生对数字（价格）的听力技能，根据其表现录用服装销售员，并让全班学生学习新句型：

T: Hello, boys and girls. My friend Mr. Elephant has a shop, too. He also needs an assistant. Zoom wants to be the assistant. Miss Sheep wants to have a look at a skirt. Let's see what will happen.

教师将打乱顺序的图片贴在黑板上，让学生观察。

T: Oh, I'm sorry. I made a mistake. They are not in order. Can you put them in order? Now discuss in groups. 2.找出Zoom的错误

呈现大象老板和Zoom的图片说1）Who is the elephant?

2）What does Zoom do? Is he a customer or a shop assistant?引导老师猜测他们的职业；呈现Miss Sheep的图片问：What does Miss Sheep like?要求学生找出她喜欢的服饰是skirt。要求学生关注skirt的价格。教师问：

How much is the skirt? Is it 16 dollars or 91 dollars? 引导学生回答。请学生仔细观察图画，找出Zoom所犯的错误。

3.学生自编对话

T: You see，Zoom made a mistake. He's fired. Now let's see what they are talking. Please discuss in groups, then act out your stories. 学生根据图片自编自演故亊。

4.学生学习故亊

T: Good! These are your stories. How’s the story in your books? Let’s listen and read it. 学生表演自编故亊后学习课本中的故亊，并启发学生讲述故事所蕴含的做事情要认真的道理。

5.学生拓展故亊

T: Zoom made a mistake. He’s fired. If you are Miss Sheep, what will you say? 学生分组讨论。学生讨论后，教师给出以下选项，请学生选择：A. No problem, I’ll take it. B I’m sorry,bye. C Be careful, zoom.

Step: 4 Extension 拓展课本中的故事，让学生接触更多相关的词汇与场景，提高其运用语言的能力。

1.帮助Mr. Elephant招聘销售员

教师展示五家商店的剪贴图，组织学生举办一场“商品交易会”。

T: You see, Zoom made a mistake. He was fired. But Mr. Elephant is so busy. He has many shops. Look, a stationer, a bookshop, a food shop and a toy shop. He needs some assistants. Do you want to try? 2.购物活动

整个教室成了一家大超市，学生兴高采烈地购物，并用所学的购物用语进行交流。
