Teaching aims:

(一)Knowledge aims:

1、Understand the new words and phrases: come on、have got、eat sth for breakfast/lunch/dinner、for a day.

2、Understand and read the new sentence: His favourite food is……. He eats ……for breakfast/lunch/dinner/a day.

1、Be able to understand and sing the song.

2、Be able to talk about the breakfast/lunch/dinner, using I eat ……for breakfast/lunch/dinner. He/ She eats……for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

(三)Emotional aims:

1、 Be happy to sing English songs.

2、 Can use numbers in your daily life.

Key points:

2、Sing the song fluently and can make your own song.

Teaching steps:

Step A: warming-up

1、 Review the numbers from 1 to 100.

Play a game: Guess the number.-What’s the number?

2、 Show some food and colour pictures.

T:What’s your favourite food/colour?

S: My favourite food/colour is …….His/Her favourite food/colour is …….

Step B: Presentation

1、 Show pictures of clocks-What’s the time? Ss: It’s seven o’clock.

T: yes! So It’s time for breakfast.

(T direct Ss to say the time and speak out breakfast/lunch/dinner )

Repeat the words loudly and practice them one by one. Then show my breakfast/lunch/dinner, T: I eat …for breakfast/lunch/dinner. What about you? What do you eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner? What does she/he eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

2、 Pairwork: S1: I eat……for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

S2: He/She eat ……for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

3、T:I have a wonderful wonderful friend. Who is he? His favourite food is bananas. Can you guess? Ss: He is a monkey.

4、T: Yes, you are so clever, He is a lovely monkey. Now there is a song about him, let’s listen and find.

Task 1:Listen and answer. (What does he eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner? )

Task 2: Listen read and circle. (What’s his favourite food/colour/number? Where does he live?)

5、Show pictures of Britain and London Zoo and read it. Show picures of Wuhan and our school . Fill in the blanks-live in or live at? (Teach the difference of “ live in” and “live at”)

Step C: Practice

1、Listen and sing the song together. (clap your hands)

2、Sing the song in groups and boys PK girls.

Step D: Adoption

Task 3: Make your own song

1、T show my new song and sing it.

2、T: Now take out your paper and fill in the blanks to make your own song. Try to write about your friend and give your song a new name.

3、Showtime: Sing your song loudly. T give some positive evaluations and encouragement.

Homework:1. Sing the song fluently to your parents.
