Step 1 Warmer 1)

Tell the students that you are going to do some actions and get them to say what you are doing. eg. _T:__What am I doing?

_S:__You are…

2）Get some students to do the actions and ask them questions and help them to answer

——What is he/she doing?

Step 2 Learn

Listen & Read 1)

Get the student to learn the new words and

ask them to write the new words on a piece of paper before you play the tape. 2)

Tell the Ss to close the books. Say that they are going to listen to the tape. Get them to draw a tick next to the words the hear. 3)

Play the tape twice have the Ss tell you the words they hear. 4)

Now have the Ss open the books and read through the dialogue. 5)

Get the Ss to answer some question about the dialogue ….. Step 3

Practise Get the Ss to read the dialogue in group ,then ask some groups to act it out Homework Write a funny story, using the Present Continuous Tense
