Unit 3 In the future教学设计

教材与学情分析

五年级的教材与三四年级是有点相似,但绝不是简单的重复,而是开始向广度和深度层面延伸。一方面谈论的话题越来越广泛,另一方面要求学生的语言组织和表达能力提升到一个新的高度。而在第三单元中,我们会学习一种新的时态----一般将来时:will+V以及一般将来时的否定语态won’t +V的表达。将重点学习“I will be a …”的句型,而此句型已有前面学过的各种职业和“I want to be a …”句型作为铺垫,因此应该较容易掌握。小学高年级学生的特点是好奇,好动,善模仿,好表演,对一切未知事物都充满好奇心和求知欲。对英语的学习兴趣浓但不能持久,因此需要具体形象的教学材料与灵活多样的教学方法来引导学习。作为农村学校的孩子,基础还是有些薄弱,所以在教学中既要抓住基础点重点,又要选择学生喜欢的学习方式。

2教学目标

1. 知识目标:能够在语境中运用本单元的核心词汇;通过反复操练,能理解和掌握句型I will be…和I won’t… 。

2. 能力目标:培养孩子的想象力和运用英语的能力。

3情感目标:通过学习和交流,激发学生学习英语的积极性,增强自信心。教育学生要树立远大理想,并懂得为实现理想而努力。

3教学重点:

词汇future, machine, in front of等

句型I will be a teacher 以及I won’t wear glasses的学习和掌握。教学难点:

是对时态的充分理解以及句型的灵活运用。

4教学过程

【导入】Pre-task preparations

1.Greeting

T: Good morning, everyone.

Ss: Good morning, teacher.

2.leading-in:

播放一首英文歌曲《心有大未来》,引出future

T: First, let’s liste n to a song and when you’re listening, think what is the song about?

Ss: Listen to the song...

T: It’s a beautiful song. What is it about?

S: 未来

T: Right, in English, we say “future”.

(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,为接下来所学做铺垫)

通过时间树状图讲解future的含义。引出课题:in the future.

T: Look, this is a superboy,he is 10, we call it “now”, and this photo he is is 30, we call it “future”.“futher”means “将来”future,future, in the future.Today we’ll learn Unit 3 In the future.

(设计意图:图文配合,更易于理解记忆)

【讲授】While-task procedures

3. While-task procedures

(1)介绍未来事物的变化,引出人----Kitty 也会发生变化。

T: From now to future, a lot of things will be different.Now together read them. People will also change. Look, who is this?

Ss: Kitty.

T: Yes, and Kitty is holding a picture. Who is this in the picture? Let’s watch the video and find out.(Play the video)

Ss: Watch the video.

T: so who is she?

S: Future Kitty.

T: right, then how does Kitty know about her future?

(设计意图:初步感知课文,后带着问题具体学习课文)

学习第一部分课文

T: Look, this is a magic machine. Read after me “machine”.

Ss: machine

T: “machine” is?(出示图片)

Ss: 机器

T: Very good. Now who can read it.

Ss: Read...

T: OK, Where is Kitty?

Ss:...

学习in front of。

T:用作业本的正反面讲front 和back 的区别。

T:And we learnt “behind”在...后面。

通过找人游戏,反复操练in front of 和 behind。

T: Where is...?

S: She/he is in front of...and he is behind...

(设计意图:结合游戏操练短语,更易于理解和掌握)

通过实际操作照相学习take a photo,师生互动操练take a photo。

T: take a photo ,take a photo and I will take a photo for you. Ok? (设计意图:实物操作激发学生兴趣,加强师生互动)

(3) 学习第二部分课文

猜谜游戏引出will

T: Kitty gets a photo from the machine, On the back there are some words on the back .Let’s read by yourself .

think about a riddle: Which word shows five times and has four letters?

Ss: “Will”

(设计意图:游戏法引出新单词,增强趣味性)

学习will和一般将来时

T: “will” mea ns将要。And will plus verb is a new tense----the future tense. It shows the things that will happen in the future. For example: I will be a teacher.

复习职业单词,然后操练I will be a ....句型。

T: Let’s revi ew some jobs... Can you finish the sentence? (I will be a______)

(设计意图:反复操练,帮助学生掌握新授语法:一般将来时。)

通过游戏“神奇暴风雨”,进一步操练和运用一般将来时态

T: Now let’s pl ay a game. This is a magic and raining day. When you touch the light. The sky will fall a letter. And you need to use the information to fill the sentence. For example: “I will teach English”. Who wants to try?

朗读照片后面的文字,并模仿语调。

T: On the back, there are some words. And they are said by a machine. So let’s imitate the tone. Follow me...

请个别同学模仿朗读

(设计意图:锻炼学生阅读模仿能力)

根据课文,两人一组回答问题。

1. Will Kitty be a teacher? 2. Will she have beautiful eyes?

3. Will she wear glasses? 4. Will she live in Shanghai?

(设计意图:锻炼学生口语表达能力和合作精神)

(4)学习第三部分课文

启发学生有感情地朗读课文

T: Now Kitty knows about her future. Is she happy?

Ss: Yes.

T: Ok. Now everyone is Kitty. Please read it happily. Ss: Read... 感知学习won’t 和I‘ll。

T: Very good. Pay attention to 2 words. T he first one “won’t”.Can you guess its meaning?

S: 将不会

T: Yes. It equals to “will not”. What about “I’ll”?

S: 我将会

T: Right. It equals to “I will”.(领读)

活动3【活动】post-task activities

(1).通过fill the blank的方式回答开始的问题:How does Kitty know about her future? 并复习课文。

T: Ok, now do you know how does Kitty know about her future?

Ss: Yes.

T: Good. Let’s say it together...

(设计意图:加深学生对整体课文的贯穿理解和掌握)

(2).引导学生运用I will be a...I will live in...和I will/won’t...的句型畅想未来,配背景音乐《心有大未来》

T: This is Kitt y’s future. What about your future? Take two minutes to think about your future.

Ss:...

T: Ok. Who wants to share? Ss:...

(3).情感教育

T: I am so happy you all have dreams and you need to work really hard to make your dreams come true. OK?

Ss: OK.

(设计意图:背景音乐帮助学生放松并增强想象力。复习所学时态,情感教育学生怀抱理想,并为之付出努力)

【作业】Homework

Ask students to draw a picture of their friend in the future and talk about it.

(设计意图:将课堂所学与生活相联系,加深对知识的理解和巩固)
