教学目标

a、认知目标：

（1）能听说认读以下四会词：bamboo, give, its, almost, deaf, frightened (2）能听懂、能实际运用句型Do you like……? Yes, I do / No, I don’t.

b、能力目标：

通过本模块的学习，学生能用英语向他人描述某些动物的生活习性，以及能向他人询问动物的生活习性。能将语言内容转化为实际交际。

c、情感目标：

1、通过动物单词、句型的学习以及情景教学，激发学生爱护动物，热爱大自然，热爱生活的美好情感。鼓励学生通过各种途径了解更多动物的生活习性。

2、培养学生对英语学习的兴趣。培养学生大胆开口、积极合作、主动学习，参与语言交际的能力和团结合作能力。

学情分析

本模块是《新标准英语》第十一册的第七模块，主题是

“Animal facts”。它是以学生喜欢的话题“动物习性”为主要教学内容。

Unit 1中出现的重点句型有：Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They love bamboo. Do snakes love music? 相关的词汇有：bamboo, give, its, almost, deaf, frightened, lucky, DVD, copy, fantastic。我将本单元内容设计为本模块的第一课时。本课时为新知识的呈现。

重点难点

重点：

1、掌握以下四会词：bamboo, give, its, almost, deaf, frightened 2、掌握四会句：Do… like…?

难点：通过本模块的学习，学生能用英语向他人描述某些动物的生活习性，以及能向他人询问动物的生活习性。能将语言内容转化为实际交际。





教学过程

Ⅰ.Show the learning aims. Ⅱ.Listen to the tape, answer the questions.

1. How many kinds of animals does the DVD introduce? Two. 2. What are they? Pandas and snakes. T: How do you think of the snake? It's frightened. If you can't do well, I will give it to you.(Only a joke) Put the pictures of panda and snake on the board. Ⅲ.Listen again and Ss follow to read, talk about the questions in groups. Teach the new words in the questions.

(almost, deaf-dead-head) Ⅳ.Read all the new words on the board. Ⅴ.practice to read the text in groups, then group show. Game: After learning the text, we all know "Pandas love bamboo." T: What food do you love? Ss: I love＿＿＿＿＿．

Ask one S, the S only tell the answer to the T, then the other Ss guess, use the sentences: Do you love......? Does he/she love......? Ⅵ.T: What animal do you love? Ss: I love____. T: Do you want to know my favourite animal? (introduce
