Review Module 4教学设计

一、教学目标:

a. 语言功能:介绍中西方节日。

b. 语言结构:一般现在时。

c. 语言知识目标:1.学生能够会听,说,读,写并会运用本模块单词及短语Thanksgiving,nearly,the Spring Festival, sure, December, light。

2. 学生能够理解,运用本模块的目标语句Thanksgiving is very important in the US. Can you tell me about Christmas?

d. 语言技能目标:

了解感恩节和圣诞节的习俗及不同的中西方国家的节日,谈论人们在节日的活动,并能用简单的句子描述节日。

c. 情感态度目标:1. 提高学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生的自信。

2. 培养学生合作学习,交流能力。

二、教学重、难点:

教学重点:巩固复习行为动词的一般现在时的用法。

教学难点:运用一般现在时介绍自己最喜欢的节日,并能在真实的语境中运用。三、学生分析:

学生在五年级学习过万圣节和复活节,在本模块学习了感恩节和圣诞节两个西方国家的节日,对于学过的单词和目标语句掌握的较好。在此基础上复习本课的知识,以学生的生活经验为出发点,拓宽学生的思维,让学生们能够正确熟练地运用,培养学生的能力。

Step1. Revision and lead in

1. Greeting: ---Hello! Boys and girls!---Hello, Miss Zhang!

2. Sing a song: We Wish You A Merry Christmas!(点课件,生边唱边做动作)

3. Free talk:

T: There are many festivals. What’s your favourite festival?

My favourite festival is _____.

Step2. Task presentation

Task: We’re going to review Module 4 and talk about your favourite festival. Now we’ll have two groups--Goup1 and Group2. Please try your best. At last, let’s see what you can find.(说明评价机制)

Step3. Practice

1. T: My friend Nancy is travelling around the world. She enjoyed many festivals in many countries. Look! Here is a letter from her. Do you want to read it?(播放Nancy的信件录音)

Now let’s read together.(生齐读)

2. T: There are two festivals. What are they?----They’re Thanksgiving and Christmas! T: Can you tell me about Christmas and Thanksgiving?----Yes.

3. T: There are five questions, let’s read together. (出示问题,齐读并板书,粘贴关键词)

4. Try to fill in the tables.(出示题单,进行选择填空,然后小组讨论并汇报)

5. T: When you talk about your favourite festival, you can describe it according to these five questions.

T: Choose one festival and try to describe it according to the table.(根据表格,描述节日)

Step4. Production

1. T: My friend is going to London. There is New Year’s Day in the UK. What do you

want to know about the festival?

a. 引导学生提出问题。When is it? What do they eat? What do they say? What do they do? How do people feel?

b. T: Now let’s enjoy it together.(生齐读)

C. 根据图片进行选择。(题单, 生交换批改,师检查结果)

2. T: Now Nancy is in Brazil. 播放视频,介绍巴西狂欢节(Brazil Carnival).

A. 小阅读填空。(采用小组竞争机制,快速回答)

B. 根据短文回答问题。

3. There are also many festivals in China.

Guessing game. Which festival is it?

T: Can you tell me more about the Spring Festival?(引导学生介绍更多关于春节的信息,对于说对的学生给予奖励)

Step5. Task completion

1. Introduce your favourite festival in groups.

2. Writing. My Favourite Festival(奖励作文优秀学生)

3. T: Look, G1 can find Thanksgiving, G2 can find Christmas.(总结评价机制) Today is Thanksgiving. Who would you like to say thanks to?

Ss: Thank you to...

T: We should say “thank you” to workers and the traffic police. We also should say “thank you” to our mother, father and our teachers.

Step6. Summary and homework

1. Summary: What have we reviewed today?

T: We reviewed two western festivals. And we can describe our favourite Chinese festival.
