Teaching procedures Module 1 Revision

(Before class, I’ll show pictures of different kinds of clothes to the students to show them that we will learn the topic about dressing correctly .) Step 1 Greet the students and get them ready for class. 1

Step 2 Ask and interview between students and students , the teacher and students to review the object clauses based on Section A, especially the ones with “wh-questions”, talking about daily topics including school uniforms.

e.g.

S1: xxx, who is your favorite singer?

S2: My favorite singer is ….

T: What does S1 ask S2?

Ss: He asks him who his favorite singer is.

T: And what does S2 say?

Ss: He says that his favorite singer is ….

Lead-in:

Check the students’ preview about the contents in Section B, especially the new words by filling the blanks with new words in certain situations Then read the new words together . 2. Activity: tell jobs from uniforms to consolidate some of the words. 3.Groupwork. Discuss: Do they need to wear uniforms all the time ?

If not, when and where should they wear them? Why ? When and where don’t they need to wear them? 4.Show their opinions . Get some students from different groups to make a presentation. 5. Help with the students’ dressing awareness on different occasions. 6.Using a hat ,talk and act . Then present :

It’s important do dress correctly on different occasions.

We should wear suitable clothes on different occasions. Step 2 While-listening

1. Ss listen to 1a and mark T(True) or F(False). Finish 1b. 2.Ss watch the flash of 1a for a better understanding. Then complete the chart and introduce it to improve their expressing abilities. 3. Read 1a and complete the passage . Finish 1c. Step 3 Post-listening

1. Read aloud and practise reading in roles 2.Deal with key points, especially the object clauses in 1a to consolidate them. 3. Arouse the students’ awareness of dressing correctly on every occasion again and lead-in the teaching in Part2. Module 3 Part 2 Step 1 Guide the students to talk about some things that often happen in our daily life and present the patterns ,basing on their previewing :

Choose occasions they like and discuss the correct dressing on the occasions.

The students are active and cooperative. I should give an “A” to them, I think. And I’m sure they will do better and better to be complete masters in class in the future. Let’s try our best together to realize it .
