Unit1 There are four seasons in a year 孔祥志

一、教材分析：本单元内容贴近生活实际，富有趣味性，内容从听说入手逐步向读写展开，比较适合小学高年级英语教学“听，说，读，写”全面发展的要求. 二、教学目标：

1.知识目标：

（1）对本课中学到的表示四季和天气的词汇，如Spring, summer, autumn, winter, wet, dry, seasons, weather, beach, field, sea, snowman , warm, cold, rainy, hot等，要求学生在听、说、认、读之后，就能达到正确书写的程度。

（2）对于本课中出现的句型，如There are four seasons in a year./What season is it? It’s spring./After spring comes summer./Its weather is hot and dry.求学生能熟练运用，并能由此拓展，进行交流。

2.能力目标：

（1）能够根据图片说出不同的季节和天气情况，培养学生的观察能力和英语表达能力；

（2）通过让学生向他人询问现在是什么季节的操练，可以培养他们的英语应用能力。

3.情感目标：

通过多种形式的游戏和活动，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

三、教学过程

Task 1 Review the learned words. spring summer autumn winter wet dry season

Task 2 Lead-in Ask and answer: T : How many seasons in a year? Ss: Four. T : What are they? S1: They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. Task 3 Learn the sentences T;It’s April now.What season is it? Ss:It’s spring. T;What’s the weather like in spring? Ss;It’s warm and raind. Ss;Its weather in the north is hot and dry.

Its weather in the south is hot and wet. Task 4 Group work Talk about the weather in autumn and winter. Task 5 Look and read 1.After winter comes spring. 2.The leaves on the tree are yellow and brown. After summer comes autumn.

3.After autumn comes winter.Its weather is cold and snowy. Task 6 Look listen and act

Task 7 组织多种形式的朗读练习，如跟录音朗读、跟教师朗读、及分角色朗读对话等，也可以让学生看笔记复述。

Task 8 在学生熟读对话的基础上，组织他们脱离课本表演。

1，

学生在学习关于天气的单词时反映出之前所学单词的遗忘，甚至彻底遗忘，在此，需要思考如何提高学生使用英语的频率，从而达到语言的运用功能。我认为在课堂开始前的free talk部分，除了日常的good morning/ how are you? 等方式，还可以谈论天气作为引导方式。

短文对话偏长，建议这个模式可以更优化，真的很希望可以省略掉翻译这个环节，因为有利于培养英语思维，但另一方面，在英文翻译过程中，两种不同语言的碰撞，可以激发出某些学生翻译的才华。
