Procedure Step1 Warm-up Say the rhyme “Seasons”

to make Ss . interested in the content in Unit1. Say the rhyme Read the words:

green/bright/yellow/white Let the Ss to read the chant Read in groups.

通过歌曲的导入让学生基本上对季节有了初步的认识。再让学生谈论自己最喜爱的季节，不仅导入了课题，也激活了学生的背景，效果还不错。

Greet with students and talk about the weather and scene and ask students to guess which season it is.

List the four seasons and ask students to sum up the main feature of each season. T write the key words on the Bb

Spring: warm colourful beautiful windy

Summer: hot sunny rainy

Autumn: windy dry

Winter: snowy cold windy foggy

Ask students about their favourite season and tell the reason.

通过学习，学生在表达自己最喜爱的季节及其原因时，一部分学生只能说出一个理由，没有达到连续说话的能力，因此下节课我要引导学生多表达原因。

学生非常乐于表演，在表演这一部分完成的比较好。但是当他们换一些单词编创自己的新对话时，部分学生不能顺利完成。我应该我引导学生，让学生特别是基础差的学生多练习。

Use two sentences to describe the pictures on P3. In this lesson, most students can read the dialogue well and they can talk about their favourite season and the reason. But some of them can only tell one reason. I should teach them how to tell the reasons as possible as they can.

Step1 Warm-up Review the words and dialogue in unit 1. . Ask students to talk about their favourite Talk about the dialogue season and tell the reason. Guide students

to use more sentences to tell the reason. Play a game in page 4 to review what we have learned.

通过请好的学生示范，大部分学生都能用两到三个句子表达自己的理由。个别好的学生思想还是有些受限制，不能尽可能多的表达自己的观点。

Guessing games: Show the pictures in page 4 and ask Ss to guess what seasons are they? Talk about the picture. Listen ,write and match. Check the answer and practice again
