Lesson 10 Winter Fun 教学目标:
1.能听、说、读、写单词
think; 能听、说、读、理解单词snowman, snowball, another, other, rock, stick, slide, throw.
2.能灵活使用句子I think I can ____. We make ____. Why? Because ____.
3. 能利用本课和前几课所学的内容讨论话题Winter Fun。
教学重点、难点:
1.能听、说、读、写本课的单词。
2.能利用所学的内容讨论话题Winter Fun。
教具、学具准备:
1.单词卡片,白色橡皮泥,胡萝卜,小石子,树枝等实物。
2.课件或录音机。
教学过程:
Class Opening and Review
a) Greeting.
b) Free talk :
1) T: How many seasons are there in a year?
S: There are four seasons. They are spring, summer, fall and winter.
T: Please spell them.
2) T: How’s the weather in spring/summer/fall/winter?
S: In spring, the weather is warm and rainy. In summer, the weather is hot and sunny. In fall, the weather is cool and windy. In winter, the weather is cold and snowy.
3) T: In different seasons, what do you wear?
S: In spring/summer/fall/winter, I wear ____.
(设计思路:开头以自由会话的形式导入本课,既给了学生练习口语的机会,又复习了前面学过的内容,同时提高了学生综合运用英语的能力。)
New Concepts
1.利用课件(冬天的场景),师提问What season is it?学生回答winter.
2.T: Do you like winter?
S: Yes, we like it very much.
T: I like winter, too. Because I like white snow! (领读Because)
What do you like to do in winter?
S: We like to skate on the ice. We like to ski on the snow.
T: I like to make snowmen/throw the snowballs/slide on the snow.
教师领读(堆雪人、打雪仗、滑雪)

3.学生试着用句子
We make snowmen. We make snowballs and throw them. We slide on the snow.来回答。
同时学习单词snowman, snowball, throw, slide.
Practice:
(1)T: Do you like winter, why? (领读why)
I like winter, because I like white snow.(教师做示范)

(2)T: Use the words make sentences in pairs

,可让学生自由发挥,拓展思维,可用上所复习的内容。可做拓展练习,Why do you like spring/summer/fall/winter? Because ____.
设计思路:本课的重点是Winter Fun这个话题,为了更好的完成这个话题我在复习中做了大量的铺垫,我为学生设计了制作雪人的环境,让学生在制作过程中大量使用英语,把所学语言运用于实践中,同时动手制作雪人也极大的调动了学生学习的积极性,让学生在玩中不知不觉的学会了本课内容。最后,设计了拓展练习,把复习的内容也说进去,而不只局限于几种运动方式。)
Class Closing
1.作业:画一幅冬天的图画并用英语说明。
2.say “Goodbye!”
(设计思路:作业留了写和画的内容,六年级的学生不能把所学知识只停留在说的能力上,更多的应进行写的练习,提高写的能力。)
