五年级上册Module 4 第六课时Eat well, stay healthy 综合拓展课教学设计
一、教学内容分析
教科版小学英语五年级上册Module5的第六课时,是一节综合拓展课。经过前面五个课时的学习,学生能够熟练地运用核心语言去谈论中西方的饮食习惯。本课紧贴Foods we need这主题,渗透健康饮食的新知识,学生们能掌握一些新的食物单词和懂得如何健康饮食。本课以谢霆锋和他的团队想要到中华美食城开一家餐厅并举行研究菜式的比赛为主线,让孩子们在情景中以小组合作的形式运用整个模块知识去研究新菜式,通过听、说、读、写的学习活动,层层递进地展开话题知识的复习、相关材料的阅读,最后以图文方式展示出来。
二、教学对象分析
五年级的学生有了一定的语言积累与读写技能基础。他们喜欢新奇有趣的事物和挑战的活动,乐于参与课堂,以形象直观思维为主,抽象思维正逐步发展;具有小组研学能力,他们能通过自主、合作、探究的学习方法去互帮互学中解决问题。本课的主题是健康饮食,学生对饮食的话题并不陌生,他们在二年级、四年级都学习过相关的内容,所以理解本课中的阅读材料对他们来说并不是一件很难的事。本节课会加大学生语言的输入量,让学生在阅读中习得语言,能综合运用语言去描述一道健康的菜式,并养成健康饮食的好习惯。
三、教学目标
(一)语言能力目标
1.知识与技能目标
1)学生能在情景中综合运用以下词汇:
(1)关于食物的单词:coffee, rice, carrot, chicken, apple, tea, milk, coke, juice, rice, dumpling, salad, bread, sandwich,egg, hamburger, cake,chips, tomato, soup, meat, potato, desser, chocolate, bun, pancake, dimsum, orange juice, banana
(2)三个感官动词:look、smell、taste
(3)初步了解食物营养成分的单词:vitamin 、protein、starch
2)语法和语音:学生能复习一般现在时第三人称单数动词的词型变化规律。
3)学生能在情境中运用以下句型:
(1)What do you think of …?
(2)It
looks/smells/tastes delicious/fresh…
(3)We should…We shouldn’t…
2.语用目标:学生能通过食物金字塔更好地了解健康饮食,并设计一道健康的菜式。
(二)学习能力目标
1)学生能通过旧知识来学习新知识;
2)
学生能在文本中寻找信息,提高阅读理解能力;
3)学生能在小组活动中提高合作能力; 4)
学生能在本课中提高综合运用语言的能力。
(三)思维品质目标
能以文本内容为依据,结合自己的生活体会,反思自己的饮食健康。
(四)文化品格目标
乐于分享美食和学会如何均衡饮食。
四、教学重、难点
(1)教学重点:整个模块的词汇和句型。
(2)教学难点:通过本课的两个文本懂得如何健康饮食。
五、教学理念及策略
龚亚夫老师在诠释“核心素养”时强调:小学英语教学应当涉及学生全面发展所必备的品格和关键能力,其中包括多层次思维能力、优良品格、文化修养和解决问题的能力等等。教师需要重构教材,要设计任务时,将思维、品格培养和语言学习相结合。本课时下是以此为旨,制定教学策略:
1.自编文本、化燥为趣。整节课以“研学后教”及IIO课堂教学模式,通过教师自编小诗,整体输入、内化、操练新知,有目的、有针对性地帮助学生接受、内化新单词和短语。
2.交流分享、培养人格。除了认知新的知识以外,非认知的各种价值观、情感态度是更为重要的教学目标。
六、教学过程

(1) To listen and fill the blanks; (2) To check the answer; (3) To read the passage together; (4) To discuss in group: One year later, what will happen? 【设计意图:学生在阅读文本的过程中复习本模块的核心词汇与重点句型,同时初步感知健康生活的重要性,为下一步作铺垫。】
2. The second passage: Eat Well, Stay Healthy (1) Use the phonics to learn the new words: vitamin 、protein、starch; (2) Put the food into three parts; (3) Discuss: Why do we need these food? (4) To know something about the pyramid. 【设计意图:学生通过阅读短文,认识食物的三个主要营养成份,学会把食物分类,并能过食物金字塔认识健康饮食。同时,学生在阅读中拓展新知识并内化语言,为后面的语言输出的作好准备。】
III Output-Design the dishes 1. Setting up the situation. 2. To share the material in groups. 3. To work in groups. 4. To share the dishes. 【设计意图:学生在小组交流活动中,综合利用本模块所学的知识,通过小组合作做出一道健康的菜式。在这实践过程中,学生学会了健康饮食,拓展了关于食

Pit likes to eat lunch at school. Monday is “ PRC ” day, on Monday he eats pork, rice and carrots., pork tastes delicious. Tuesday is “CAR” day, on Tuesday he eats chicken, apples and rice, apples are good for us. Wednesday is “ PEN ”

on Wednesday he eats pork, eggplants and noodles, noodles look good. Thursday is “NBA”
day,
on Thursday he eats noodles, beef and apples, beef smells great. Friday is Pit’s favourite day, on Friday he can eat “KFC”, for kale, fish and cake, fish looks fresh. He is healthy and well, because he has balanced diet . Pat doesn’t eat lunch at school. He eats 10 lollipops, some ice-cream and lots of popcorn every day. His favourite food is chocolate and his favourite drink is cola.
