第五课时

一、教学目标与要求

1．能够听、说、认读本课时主要句型：Is this the library? Is that the TV room?

2．能够识别句型“Is this the... ? 和Is that the... ?”的不同用法并在真实情景中正确使用。

3．能够较好地完成Let's check部分的评价活动。

4．能够发挥想象，设计一所未来的学校，并在设计和展示作品时应用所学语言。

二、教学重、难点分析

本课时的重、难点是“Is this ... ? / Is that... ?”的用法。建议教师在真实的情景中对this和that在距离上的区别进行比较以加深学生的印象。

三、课前准备

1．教师准备该部分的挂图。

2．教师准备相关的词卡。

3．教师准备录音机和录音带或VCD。

4．学生准备白纸和彩笔。

四、教学过程

1．热身（Warm-up）

（1）学生表演A部分Let's do 的内容。

（2）学生吟唱B部分Let's chant中的歌谣。

2．预习（Preview）

教师和学生进行主题讨论：What's in our school? 鼓励学生用新学的单词来交谈。

3．新课呈现（Presentation）

Let's talk 学生谈论了学校的场馆设施后，教师出示本校校长的照片问：Who is he? Yes, he is our headmaster．Do you want to be a headmaster? Today Wu Yifan is a headmaster．He has a new school．Do you want to have a look? 以此导入新课。

（1）学生观看教学挂图或VCD，然后回答教师提出的理解性问题。在问答的过程中重点理解与操练句型：Is this the... ? 和Is that the... ?

（2）将六张图卡背面朝上反贴在黑板上，注意遮盖住图卡背面的单词。教师先作示范指着某张图卡猜问：Is this... ? / Is that... ? 让学生翻过来作答。然后重新打乱顺序在学生之间进行问答。此活动还可以在小组中用小卡片进行。

（3）学生听录音、模仿跟读对话。

（4）学生分角色朗读对话。学生分角色表演。

（5）设计活动

让学生发挥想象力，设计一所未来的学校。完成后先和同桌互相交流，然后向全班学生展示。鼓励他们在交流的过程中尽量多地使用所学的新句型。

Let's check 教师连续播放三次录音。第一遍让学生先听录音，第二遍勾出与录音内容相符的一项，第三遍检查。

录音内容如下：

（1）Look! This is the library．We have many picture-books．

（2）That is the canteen．We have lunch here．

（3）Is this an art room? Yes, it is．

（4）Is that a computer room? No, that is a teacher's office．

4．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension）

（1）做本单元B部分Let's talk的活动手册配套练习。

（2）将本课时对话读给同伴、朋友或家长听。

（3）将自己设计的学校用英文介绍给爸爸妈妈。

（4）听Story time中的故事并跟读。

第六课时

一、教学目标与要求

1．能够理解并朗读Read and write 和Task time中的对话。

2．能够在真实情景中灵活运用新学的词汇和句型。

3．能够正确朗读Pronunciation中的单词，并能分析出读音规则。

4．能够以小组合作的方式完成Task time中的任务。

5．能够学会本单元的歌曲、歌谣。

7．能听懂故事。

二、教学重、难点分析

1．本课时的重点是Read and write 中的四个四会单词以及问句“Is this a teacher's desk?”及其答句“Yes, it is．”在四线格中的正确书写。

2．本课时的难点是拼读单词picture，在四线格中书写句型“Is this a... ?”以及总结元音字母a的发音规则。

三、课前准备

1．教师准备该部分的挂图。

2．教师准备相关的词卡。

3．教师准备录音机和录音带。

4．学生准备白纸和彩笔。

四、教学步骤和建议

教学过程

1．热身（Warm-up）

（1）师生合唱该单元的歌曲和歌谣，边歌边舞。

（2）请学生表演Story time 中的对话。

2．预习（Preview）

猜谜语：教师给学生出一些简单的谜语，如：Jack is in a room．There are many books in it．He can see many students．They are reading books．They are quiet．Where is Jack?

3．新课呈现（Presentation）

Read and write （1）请学生观察Read and write部分的情景图，预先空出来需要书写的四

会单词，让学生独立思考，填充对话。

（2）强化练习拼读单词picture，可以小组竞赛的形式进行。

（3）练习书写句型“Is this a... ?”时可从陈述句“This is....”中衍生问句。先请学生排列一组单词成为新句子，然后改正新句中的错误，如：打头单词的第一个字母需要大写；第二个单词的第一个字母不需要大写；句末句号改为问号等。用这种形式可以充分体现以学生为中心的自主学习，在轻松愉快的气氛当中突破难点。

（4）让学生听录音并跟读，教师还可设计一些简单问句检查学生对于对话的理解程度。

（5）游戏：学生A从书包里拿出一件文具放在身后，问同桌：What's this? 同桌回答：Is this a... ? 如果答对，学生A给同桌敬个礼。

Pronunciation 建议教师让学生分小组一起仔细听录音，观察讨论，找出规律，然后向全班汇报。

Task time 让学生带上纸和笔，四人一组参观学校，并将学校的校舍分布情况记录下来，绘出地图，标上各功能室的名称。回到教室后向全班展示。或者由学生分组活动，每名学生负责绘制一处场馆设施，然后拼贴成为一幅完整的学校地图。

4．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension）

（1）做本单元B部分Read and write的活动手册配套练习。

（2）书写本课时的四会单词和四会句子。

（3）和爸爸妈妈一起描绘出一张理想中学校的结构图并用英文进行表述。

5．供选择的游戏

（1）让学生把绘制的理想中的学校蓝图展示出来，大家参观并评出最有创意的设计。

（2）游戏：我在哪里？例如：I can see many books．I can see many students．They are reading books．Where am I? （3）简笔画游戏：四名学生一组进行比赛。一名学生说：music room，其他学生必须在数秒钟内在黑板上画出music room的简笔画，画得最像的得一分。

（4）看看、想想、说说，如：教师出示词卡garden，让学生联想tree, grass等词；出示词卡canteen，引导学生联想spoon, plate, chopsticks等词，新旧结合

滚动复现。

（5）看谁记得准：请学生仔细观察学生用书上的插图或者挂图，然后合上书或取下挂图，就图中内容提问，请学生回答Yes / No。

（6）画一画、想一想，如：画一本书请学生联想单词library, shelf；画一个盘子或者碗，联想单词canteen等。

（7）第一层还是第二层？教师展示教学楼框架图，两名学生代表两个小组听指令贴卡片，如：T: The washroom is on the second floor．两名学生分别找出washroom的小卡片，贴在相应的位置上，速度快的为胜者。
