Step1. Look and say out the opposite words of the following words. bigger--

heavier-- Step2. Correct the mistakes in the sentences. ①

I’m taller then you. ②

He’s tall than me. ③

Amy hair is shorter than Chen Jie. Step3. Ask and answer the questions. ⑴

Divide the students into four by four.

Every says a sentence about the difference between two of them. And the sentences must be different. For example:

I’m taller than you

He is shorter than me. Her hair is long than mine. His shoes are bigger than hers.

…

Step5. Look at the pictures and write sentences. ⑴

Yao Ming is taller than Liu Xiang.

Liu Xiang is shorter than Yao Ming. ⑵

Ms Xu is older than us.

We are younger than Ms Xu. ⑶

The elephant is heavier than the monkey.

The monkey is thinner than the elephant. ⑷

The yellow ruler is shorter than the blue ruler.

The blue ruler is longer than the yellow ruler. ⑸

His shoes are bigger than her shoes.

Her shoes are smaller than his shoes. ⑹

Amy’s hair is shorter than Chen Jie’s.

Chen Jie’s hair is longer than Amy’s. Step6. Look at the pictures of Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian.

Ask the students to describe the difference between them.

For example: Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian are basketball players.

They play basketball very well. But Yao Ming is taller than Yi Jianlian.

He is stronger than Yi Jianlian. His shoes are bigger than Yi Jianlian’s. Step7. Compare two students in the class. 姓名

Step8. Oral composition practice I have a student. She is very cute.
