Learning steps Step1 Warm—up
Sing a song
( The students and the teacher sing a song together to the music. Then the teacher check what words the students have found in the song.) Step2 Presentation 1.
Look and read The teacher shows a lot of words on the screen, and the students look and read quickly. The one who reads right and quickly will get a small prize. 2.
Revision The teacher instructs the students to revise the rules and read the words.

Look and lay According to the rules ,the students try laying the words in groups on the blackboard. 4.
Show and read aloud
The students show and read the words aloud. If necessary, the teacher helps and the students read after the teacher. 5.
Try
The teacher shows some other words , and the students try sorting them: farmer

mark

worm
fall

Step3 Practice 1.
Look, listen and write
The students first look at the contents on their own ,then listen and write. The teacher plays the tape twice to make sure the students could write correctly. 2.
Listen and chant
