Unit 8 They are sweet potatoes. Teaching aims:1.Learn some new words.

2.Help Ss orally understand the diologue.

3.Help the Ss to use the sentences in a real situation. Key

point :Ss can use the words. Difficult point:Ss can use the sentences in a real situation. Teaching aids:PPT,words cards,vegetables. Teaching steps:1.sing a song.

2. warm-up. Teacher show the word cards and make dialogue with the students.

3.New lesson.(1)The teacher show a sweet potato and teach the word ,then show the word card ,teach sweet potatoes .in this way ,show the title then write the title on the blackboard.

Then let the students read after the teacher ,and read

together,boys and girls ,group by group,one by one.in the same way teach the other words.

(2)The teacher ask the questions :Are the …? Yes/No, they are./they aren’t.In this way

help the students use the wods and the sentences.

(3) Let’s play a guessing game.Let two pupils ask and answer with two pictures.

(4) Let 4 pupils act out the dialogue.

(5)Let’s chant.
