教材分析:本单元是让学生继续学习表示问候、介绍他人等交际功能

学情分析:课前反思:

教学目标:知识目标: 的基本表达形式。通过真实情景让学生理解表示欢迎的Welcome to...和介绍他人时This is (my)...的用法。学生通过学习课文,不仅学会简单英语,还要学会如何礼貌待人。

四年级孩子活泼好动,大部分同学非常喜欢上英语课,乐于在课堂上表现自己,并能积极参与课堂活动,但仍有少数学习较吃力的学生还需要通过和同学的合作学习,或参与简单有趣的小游戏,来调动他们学习英语的兴趣。

This is (my)...和mother, father对于四年级学生并不陌生,根据所教学生特点,本节课重点是能运用所学词句进行正确交流,书写作为下一课时重点练习。

2. Through watching the pictures and free talking, students can listen, read and write the words: father, mother, grandfather and grandmother.

能力目标:1. Through listening, reading, role play the dialogues, students can listen, read and act out the dialogue.

2. Through learning the whole text, we can let the students write a little passage about their family.

情感目标:We should be a polite student.

教学重点:1. To use the words: father, mother, grandfather and

grandmother.

2. To read the dialogue proficiently and try to write a little passage about their family.

教学难点:T he pronunciation of the words “grandmother, grandfather, welcome”.

教具准备:books, family photo, PPT,

(让学生们提前准备自己的全家福照片,教师根据教学设计出课件,为课堂创造语境做准备。)

教学流程:

1.巧妙导入:Through a family photo, students can understand the words “father, mother, grandfather, grandmother”, and “Welcome

to my home.”

(教学方法:出示PPT--Billy’s family photo,让学生看和听,初步理解家庭人员的称呼和Welcome t o…句型。)

2.引出主题:Today we’ll learn Unit 1. ( Show today’s title “Welcome to our home!”)

3.解决难点:

(1)Show some picture s, encourage students to introduce using “This is my mother. She is beau tiful/tall/thin… This is my father. He is tall/strong/clever…”, and ask the students to pay attention to the spelling of “ther”

(教学方法:随机出现班级里几位同学爸爸妈妈的照片(PPT),教师用“Who’s he/she”提问,并用句式“This is my____. He/She is____.”引导学生进行语句表述。)

(2)Encourage students to spell and read “grandfather, grandmother ” . Pay attention to the pronunciation of “grand [grænd]”.

(教学方法:出示爷爷奶奶的图片(PPT),鼓励学生根据前面Billy的介绍,试着说出grandfather, grandmother,并巧记本课四个单词的特点和联系。)

4.听音感知:Listen and answer “____ is Xiao Hui’s new friend.”

5.默读初始:Read silently and translate the sentences “Welcome to our home. I’m from the UK.”

6.朗读探知:Read loudly and answer the questions:

“Who is Xiao Hui’s new friend?”

“Where are you from,Helen?”

7.听音跟读:Listen and try to read after the tape.

8.角色朗读:小组读、男女读、师生对读、角色读。

9.留白处理:留白读,去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。

10.短文示范:Hi! I’m Little Wolf.

This is my family photo.

This is my father. He is short.

This is my mother. She is beautiful.

The little boy is me.

I have a happy family. Welcome to our home!

11.学生仿写:(Students can write it down and act out.)

(教学方法:PPT出示文本框架和词汇卡,为学生仿写提供资源。) 12.课堂小结:Sing a song “My Love” and consolidate the key words. 13.布置作业:(1) Write the key words.
