教材分析:
本单元是以介绍他人基本情况为线索,学习运用介绍他人体貌特征的基本表达形式。通过学习,让学生乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语,并借助拼读规律和联想学习词汇和句子。
学情分析:
本学期面对的是四年级的学生,经过一年半的学习,基本可以掌握字母和一些单词的认读,初步了解字母的基本读音规律和简单的字母组合读音。在句子朗读方面有待加强。
课前反思:学生们早已掌握了 he 和she 的意思,本课tall/short/strong等单词在平时的课外阅读和课堂口语中也有涉及,这将有利于本课的学习。
教学目标:
知识目标:
1、By using pictures , teaching tools, students can listen, read and say these words : tall/short/strong/man/woman .
2、Through making sentences, asking and answering practice, students can understand and use the patterns “who is he? She’s… ./He’s…. 能力目标:
1、Using key words and language of the Unit to communicate, ask and answer correctly.
2、By reading and practicing, they can understand ,speak and act Let’s act.
情感目标:
Encourage the students to take part in all kinds of class activities, use adj. to describe a person and guess who is he/she ?
教学重点:
1. Grape and use “who is he/she? He’s …/she’s….”
2.Uuse different adj(s) to describe a person.
教学难点:
1. Use the different adj(s) to describe a person, such as he’s a tall/strong/handsome man/teacher. She’s a beautiful /kind girl/nurse.etc
教具准备: word cards, courseware,books, teaching tools.
教学时间:2课时
教学流程:(14步)
复习检测(brother、sister、uncle、aunt、cousin)exchange the answer with your desk mate. Check the answers.
新课传授
巧妙导入:T: Hello! boys and girl.
S: Hello! Miss/ Mr/Miss.…!
2.引出主题:T: Look! There is a cartoon about a gorilla and a baby. Do you like it? Now, let’s watch a cartoon. Say something about the cartoon. who is he? can you describe him? He’s…
3.解决难点:
(1). T: who is he ?
S1: I don’t know.
T: He’s gorilla. who is he?
S2: He’s a baby.
T: Yes. The gorilla is strong. The baby is weak.
Learn the word “strong” use the sentences you learned.
(2)T: Who can describe the man in the picture? Use adj(s)
S1: He’s … and ….
Learn the word “tall and short” use the sentences you learned.
(3)T: Look at this picture , who is she ? can you guess?
S: Is she …?
T: No ,she isn’t.
S: I know , she’s ….
Learn the word “man and woman” use the sentences you learned.
(4)Let’s sing. Who is he?
4.听音感知:T: Two students are talking in the classroom .Listen to the tape and try to choose the key words you’ve heard.
5.默读初始:Read silently and practice the words or sentences in groups.
6.朗读探知:Read loudly and answer the questions.
7.听音跟读:Listen and try to read after the tape.
8.角色朗读:1) Read the text with the others.
2) Read the text in groups.
9.留白处理:留白读,去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。
10.短文示范:T: Let’s make a dialogue according to words and sentence sructure .
Look at the picture, who is she? Describe his or her appearance.
11.学生仿写:(Students can imitate it and try to write it down.)
12.课堂小结:Student talk about what they learned.

课后反思:
运用形象生动的音视频资料,学生们的注意力能更好的集中在学习的知识上,在歌曲和chant 中学会本课单词和句型,这一单元是很贴近生活的一课,学生们可以在生活中用英语描述一个人,进行实际的操练。
