Can you sing and dance ?
教材分析:The focus of this unit is grasp modal verb “can”, through
the teaching of this unit ,the students can master the usage of “can you …? Yes, I can/No, I can’t, so more chances should be given to students to
practice with each other.
学情分析:The students in grade 4 are full of vigor、enthusiasm and curiosity, it is necessary to adopt diversified teaching methods to attract students’ attention ,
so it is important to make a happy and interesting teaching situation for all students
in the classroom. 课前反思:How to practice more with English in class is still the most important thing in this period of students .Therefore ,I will design well the whole class and give the students more chances.
教学目标与策略分析:
知识目标:
1. By using courseware and playing games, students can listen, read and say the new words: sing, dance, read, write and speak.
2. Through using courseware, making sentences, asking and answering practice, students can understand and use the patterns “Can you …? Yes, I can./No, I can’t.” proficiently.
能力目标:
1.Through listening, reading, role play and making dialogues, students can listen,read and act out the dialogues.

text, we can let the students write a little composition
about friends according to their learning in the class. 情感目标:
Learn to ask other students what they can do and make friends, and enhance

interests
of
learning
English
and
enthusiasm. 教学重点:
Learn to use the patterns “Can you …? Yes, I can./No, I can’t.” . 教学难点:
Learn to read the words “read” and “write” correctly. 教具准备:
courseware, books, pictures
教学过程:
1、巧妙导入
T: Hello, boys and girls. Let’s look at the picture of Judy and Tom. (pay attention to what they speak) 2、引出主题
Tom says: I can sing (show picture). I can read (show picture). I can speak English (picture ) .To lead and show the students the new words. Ask the students: can you sing? /can you dance?/can you read? The students can answer easily: yes ,I can /No, I can’t
3、解决难点
1. The teacher used the white board to produce a picture of sing/dang/read/write/and speak, the students can make sentences according to the picture. 2.
T: Tom can sing and dance. Can you sing? Can you dance? S: Yes, I can./No, I can’t. Try to use “can you…?”and
answer use yes/no (Train the student to read the patterns correctly.) 4、听音感知
Ask the students to listen to the dialogue and answer “Can Robot speak English?”.
5、听音跟读
Ask the students to listen and follow to read the dialogue.
6、默读初始listen and imitate
Ask the students to read the dialogue silently and answer the question “Can Robot sing and dance?”./ “Can Robot swim?”
7、朗读探知
Ask the students to read the dialogue loudly and answer “Can Robot swim?”.
8、角色朗读
Read the dialogue emotionally in different ways for example, read by team, group, boys, and girls, and so on . 9、留白处理
Practice again and try to fill in the blanks.
10、短文示范
Hello! I’m _____. I can_____.
I can_______. I can_______. What can you do?
11、学生仿写
Students can imitate it and fill in the blank.(according to the pictures and key words) teacher creates a situation with what they have learned to :what can you do ? at last, the teacher can check the answers of
