一、Teaching aims：

知识目标：

1.能够听、说、认读单词和词组：Mid-Autumn Festival, together, get together, mooncake , poem, moon. 2.能懂会说句子：Tomorrow is Mid-Autumn Festival. My family are going to get together and have a big dinner. 3.学生能读懂文章中的日记，并能够完成文中的信息表。

能力目标：

1.学生们能够熟练地ask and answer “What holiday is it? What do you often do with your family on these holidays？What are you going to do next year?”

2.学生们能够在老师和同学的帮助下完成自己的日记。

3.能够使用be going to/will 一般将来时态通过日记描述自己和全家人的节日计划和安排。

情感目标：

帮助学生了解中国的传统节日的一些习俗，让学生体会家庭和团聚的含义，培养学生热爱自己的祖国和热爱自己的家的情感。

二、Teaching key points 1. 能够听、说、认读单词和词组：Mid-Autumn Festival, together, get

together, mooncake , poem, moon. 2.能够正确读出多音节词。

3.能够使用一般将来时谈论自己的节日计划。

三、Teaching difficult points 1.能够正确地掌握一般将来时的两种动词形式be going to/will+动词原形。

2.能够设计自己的节日计划，完成自己的日记。

四、Teaching procedures Step1: Warm up 1.Greetings 2. Free talks: Where are you going this weekend?

Who are you going there with ? What are you going to do? Step2: Pre-reading 1、T:Do you want to take a trip to Miancheng? Are you going to Miancheng? Miancheng is a small town ,but it’s very beautiful, especially during some traditional festivals, It’s more lively.Festival means holiday（节日）.Look at the picture ,can you guess what festival it is? S: It’s Dragon Boat Festival

T: What do we eat on Dragon Boat Festival? S: Zongzi.

2、向学生展示几种中国传统节日的图片，让学生猜猜是什么节日。

T：What festival is it? Can you guess? S：国庆节！

T：You are right! Excellent! It’s National Day. It’s the birthday of the People’s Republic of China. What about this?（展示春节、元宵节图片）

…

3、看图片，向学生提问在这些传统节日家人们常常做什么？以此来激活相关背景知识和储备词汇。

T: What do you often do with your family on these holidays?

S：We often take a trip and go shopping, set off firecrackers, put up the pictures and couplets, our families often get together and have a big dinner.（呈现课件图片引导学生回答）

4、向学生课间呈现一幅中秋节图片，教学生新的节日

—中秋节Mid-Autumn Festival

T: What holiday(festival) is it? S: Mid-Autumn Festival. T: Follow me, Mid-Autumn Festival.

What do we eat on Mid-Autumn Festival? S: 月饼

T: Oh, yes, mooncake, mooncake, mooncake

How do we celebrate this holiday? What do we do with our family

on Mid-Autumn Festival? S: My family often get together and have a big dinner, we often eat mooncakes , watch the moon and enjoy the moon, sometimes we make mooncakes, my grandma tells us a story about chang’e, and read a poem.（课件呈现图片）

T: We all know this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival has already passed. What are you going to do next Mid-Autumn Festival? S1: I am going to ……What are you going to do next Mid-Autumn Festival? S2: ……

Step3. While-reading 1.介绍课题和课型

T: These are our ways to celebrate traditional festivals, do you want to know how Wu Yifan’s family are going to have Mid-Autumn Festival? Turn to page28. Look at Part Read and write, what type（类型）is the passage? S: It’s a diary. T: Yes, it’s a diary.（介绍日记格式）

Do you know who writes this diary? S: Wu Yifan. T: What does he write about?

S: He writes a diary about Mid-Autumn Festival. T: When is Mid-Autumn Festival in this passage ? S: Tomorrow. T：Oh, this is Wu Yifan’s holiday plan tomorrow.（板书课题）

2. 学生听录音，找到关键信息

T: Please listen to the tape, and answer—How many people（members）

are mentioned（提到）in the diary？Underline them.

S: Wu Yifan’s family, Wu Yifan’s aunt, Wu Yifan’s grandma, Wu Yifan and Robin（板书）

3. Read and match What are Wu Yifan’s family going to do tomorrow ? What about Yifan’s aunt, grandma, Wu Yifan and Robin? What are they going to do?

Please read the first paragraph and match on the screen. 4. Ask and answer about Yifan’s family’s plan（问答有关义凡家人计划）

. According to the picture, ask and answer about Yifan’s family’s plan with“be going to”. Now for example: T: What are Wu Yifan’s family going to do? S1: They’re going to……

What’s Yifan’s aunt going to do? S2: She is going to……

We can say this question and answer in another way, now for example:

A: What are Wu Yifan and Robin going to do tomorrow?

﹦What will Wu Yifan and Robin do tomorrow?

B: They are going to read a poem. ﹦They will read a poem（课间呈现解释）.

According to the picture, ask and answer about Yifan’s family’s plan with “will”. Now for example: T: What will Wu Yifan’s family do? S1: They will get together and……

What will Yifan’s aunt do? S2: She will……

5. Retell the diary T: According to the passage, tomorrow is Mid-Autumn Festival, What are Wu Yifan’s family going to do? Please look at the blackboard design and retell the story.（学生自主选择be going to 与will, 用第三人称复述）

6. Read the poem （1）T: We know Wu Yifan and Robin will read a poem, what poem will they read? Wu Yifan and Robin write a poem themselves. Please look and listen.（课间呈现整首诗，学生边看边听）

Can you find out something special （特别的，特殊的）from the poem?

提示：What letters are they? S: F-A-M-I-L-Y, family.

T: Yes, we each have a happy family, we always have a festival with our family, we can have a good time with our family during the festival. So we should love our family, and our country has a long history and some colorful traditional culture, Mid-Autumn Festival , Dragon Boat Festival

and so on are all our traditional culture, so we should love our motherland ,too.（用课件呈现这段话）

7. Can you explain the letters in another way? Use your head.

Answer: Father and mother , I love you. Step4. Post-reading. T: Wu Yifan talks about his Mid-Autumn Festival plan, his family will be very happy, what about yours? Do you have a holiday plan? S1: I am going to have Christmas with my family. S2: I am going to have Spring Festival with my family. ……

Dragon Boat Festival is coming, how are you going to celebrate this holiday? What are you going to do with your family? Please write a diary about your holiday plan（课间呈现）
