Step 2 Presentation 1) lead in: (T point to the picture.) How do you go to school? (S1) I go to school on foot. / I walk to school. Then the teacher points S1 and says: He always walks to school. 2) Present the new words: always, walks, ask the sentences: How does he go to the park? He always walks to school. 3) Present the new words and new sentence patterns by talking about: usually, often, sometimes, never, takes a plane, takes a ship , takes a train, ride a bike , drive a car How does he/she go to the zoo ? He/ She usually/ often/ sometimes/ never takes a bus. 4) ask and answer in pairs with pictures: How does he/she go to …… ? He/ She usually/ often/ sometimes/ never …s a ……

5) Learn the story:

a/ Play the tape. b/ learn the new words in story with pictures: woods, look for, candies, find, of course, lose c/ read and understand A story in pairs/ in groups. d/ act out the story. Step 3 Practice 1) read and spell the new words together. 2) A game.

Step 4 Production 1) ask and answer about the story. 2) Practice 2(ask and answer with a form): How does Tony go to school? He always takes a bus. 3) write a passage like model:

Hello, I’m Amy. I have many friends. They are Tony, Jenny, Lisa, Jim and Sally. Tony sometimes takes a bus to school. Jenny never takes a subway to school. Lisa usually takes a car to school. Jim always rides a bike to school. Sally sometimes goes to school by taxi. They are happy. 4) Fill in the blanks, finish the sentences. Step 5 Homework 1)
