在学习和日常交际中,能初步注意到中外文化异同,保护动物，爱护动物。

(六)功能:全体学生能运用已学语言谈论动物的生活习性。

学情分析

六年级的学生,已经具备了一定的语言表达能力,但是仍然喜欢直观形象思维,所以我以一个任务话题为主线,让他们在任务话题线索中学习新知,探索答案。本单元的话题与学生生活贴近,能够引起学生学习兴趣。对话中运用一般现在时谈论动物的生活习性。语言结构对学生来说难度不大,但是词汇变化较多。这需要学生通过语境进行理解。

重点难点 掌握本单元需识别与运用的单词,能运用已学语言谈论动物的生活习性。

教学过程 I Lead in: 1.Greetings. 2.Look and say. T:Let’s watch a video . What can you see ? S:I can see some animals. 资源:PPT插入动物视频。

3.Look and answer.

T:There are so many animals. Look! Daming and Simon are talking about animals, too. Let’s watch a video. What are they ? 资源:PPT插入课文part1教学资源的Flash控件。

T: What are they ? S:Snakes and dogs. 4. Listen and repeat. 资源:PPT插入课文part1教学资源的Flash控件。

T:Why does Simon’s dog bite his CD? S:Maybe the dog like music. T:Maybe. Because the dogs like to bite. Such as bones. It is the dog’s habit. 5.T:Today we’ll learn Module7 Unit1 Pandas love bamboo. We’ll talk about the habit of animals.

II. Presentation

1.Look and say. T: Look! Daming is watching a new DVD. Who gave it to Daming. Look at this word“gave”,read words : name, date, gave.(引用先学后教的教学模式,找出与“gave”读音类似的单词“name, date”,让学生自己总结单词“gave”的发音,达到先学后教。同时插入“gave”单词的音频,让学生模仿读词,达到纠正发音,突破单词教学的重点。) 资源:PPT触发器,自定义动画,插入gave的音频。

T:“gave”is past tense of “give”(give-gave学生区分读单词的原型和过去式,难点是区分单词的读音。). Simon gave it to Daming.Pay attention to “give sth. to sb.”and “give sb. Sth.”

【设计意图】在此环节让学生在教师的先学后教的环节中完成单词的学习。并且让学生书空完成单词的书写,加深学生的学习印象。

2.Watch and answer T: Simon gave Daming a DVD about animals. There are two animals are mentioned in the dialogue, what animals are they? S:They are pandas and snakes. 3. About pandas: (1)Read and find. T: Let’s learn about pandas part. You can read the text and find out the answers. Who can read? Q1: What do pandas love? Q2: How long do they eat a day? T: Please open your books.(学生自读课文的第一部分) T: Underline the answers on your book. 【设计意图】六年级的学生可以自读找到问题的答案,让学生以自读的方式,放手自学找出问题的答案。

(2)T:Let’s check answers. T:What food do pandas love?

【设计意图】关键词bamboo,讲解重点单词,加深学生的学习印象,突破教学重点。

T:Look at this word“bamboo”(教师教读,学生以小组为单位跟读单词。) 资源:PPT插入图片讲解bamboo,出示图片让学生感受“bamboo”这个单词是不可数单词。

T:Bamboo is an uncountable noun. Look at these words(rice, meat, bread, chicken, fish, soup, juice, milk, tea)They’re uncountable nouns. 资源:PPT触发器,自定义动画,插入不可数名词的图片。

【设计意图】通过对bamboo这个单词的学习,联系以往学习过的旧知,把相关的不可数名词进行复习,使学生的学习更具有系统性。

Its plus noun “its body”.(教师在这里讲解“its”的词性,达到六年级的知识与初中知识的衔接。) T:Look!Its and it’s have the same pronunciation . But it’s is equal to it is. Its means “它的” It’s means “它是”
