一、教学目标:

三、课前准备:

1.一张学校的地图

2.光盘,录音机和录音带

四、教学步骤:

一.Warm-up:

1.Sing the song:Our school

2.Look at the pictures in “main scene”,talk about them with sentences:This is the.../That is the.../Where is the...

3.Read the sentences in “main scene”.

二.Presentation:

1.Read and fill in the table:

(1).Read the four groups of sentences,underline the nouns(places) about school.

(2).Read the sentences again and fill in the blanks.

(3).Groupwork:Read the sentences in groups of four and discuss the answers together.

(4).Listen to the tape and follow to read it,then check the answers. Present the map of school:

2.Present the map of school and talk about it in some sentences,using : This is the.../That is the.../It’s on the first(second) floor. 3.Teacher gives sentences and students find out the mistakes:

(1)this is the gym.

(2)Thatisthelibrary.

4.Finish the part of “Look and write”:Rewrite the sentences,draw a place of our school and write a sentence to describe it.

5.Story time:

(1)Read the story and answer:

a.Where do the animals go?

b.How many places do they visit?

c.Where is Zoom?

(2)Check the answers and watch the video.
