一、Teaching objectives: (教学目标)

(一)Ability objectives: ( 语言技能目标)

1. Be able to use the key sentence patterns to make dialogues.

2. Develop listening, reading and speaking abilities in tasks related to topics.

3. Be able to read and understand the passages according to pictures and listening.

(二)Knowledge objectives:(语言知识目标)

1. Have Ss understand some key words and sentence: on vacation,visit my grandma and grandpa, take some photos, have lots of fun... I’m going to ...

2. Be able to understand the passages and finish the exercises.

3.Be able to know about the postcard and write a postcard.

(三)Moral objectives:(情感态度目标)

1. To develop students' comprehensive abilities of using language, improve the ability of cooperation and communication, know more about postcard culture.

2. According to postcard, have Ss love each other.

二、Teaching key points: (教学重点)

(一)Be able to listen, read and say the words and sentences.

三、Teaching difficult points: (教学难点)

(一)Be able to read the words correctly: visit my grandma and grandpa, take some photos, have lots of fun.

(二)Be able to read and understand all the exercises.

(三)Be able to understand the differences between Foreign postcard and Chinese postcard, and wite a postcard.

五、Teaching procedure: (教学过程)

1.Let’s chant. “What’s this?”

2. Guessing

【设计意图】课前唱歌谣,调动学生的学习兴趣,创设愉快的课堂气氛,再以歌谣形式继续让学生猜快件是什么?以快件导入,引出postcard,为后面的课堂内容作铺垫。

1.Teach the word: postcard

2.Introduce Wang Dagang’s address.

3.Explain the differences between Foreign postcard and Chinese postcard.

【设计意图】引出本课主人公,让学生对明信片有一定的初步了解,简单区别外国明信片和中国明信片写地址的方式。突破本课难点,吸

引学生更想了解后面课堂内容。

1.Test 1: Listen to the postcard of Kevin, and tick the right answers.

2.Test 2 : Listen again, then fill in the blanks.

3.Test 3: Read the passage, then find down the answers, then write down.

4.Test 4: Extracurricular reading. Watch the video, then play a game.

5.Test 5 :Make a dialogue.

【设计意图】以冲关的形式,呈现新知,让学生寓乐于学。又以小组合作的形式进行阅读能力、和口语能力的训练,本环节形式多样,孩子们能更好地掌握本课的知识,更好地运用在生活中。

Introduce Kevin, have Ss know more about USA.

【设计意图】学生回信给纽约的Kevin前, 通过欣赏美国名胜景点,增加对美国纽约的了解,也增进了西方文化的学习。

【设计意图】前面阅读已突破了阅读的重难点,这里是写作能力的训练,通过小组合作,不但可以提高口语能力和感知知识的掌握程度,更能提高合作能力。

【设计意图】通过拓展明信片知识,让学生懂得明信片不只是一张图片,而是代表了对所思念的人的爱,培养学生爱身边每个人。

Write down their Qingming Festival plans

【设计意图】有针对性地布置作业,延伸课堂内容,让学生继续保持学习兴趣,同时为下一节课的文化拓展课做好铺垫。
