Teaching Procedures Step 1. Preparation 1. Warming-up Describe the classroom and our school correctly. Listen and write some sentences including Are there...?/Is there...? Check the answers. Notes Step 2. Presentation & Practice T: Look at me, what’s this? 1. T：What’s in my bag? ( a doll and a storybook in the bag) S: It’s a mouth. T: This is my body, these are my arms. Teach the new words: body, arms T: Please introduce your body and arms. Learn the other words:leg-legs, tail, wing-wings by the same way. Work in pairs T: Please introduce yourself each other. Listen to the story and guess what animals they describe. Ss give the answers:1.fish 2.dog 3. rabbit 4.parrot. And then finish the Match and say on P28. Read the story following the story time’s cartoon. And then finish Think and write on P 28 . Ask Ss to underline “have /has” in the exercise. Draw and describe. Ask Ss to draw other one student in their group and then read the sentences they describe for others to guess who is he/who is she. Eg.She has a big head .She has big eyes and a small mouth. She is tall and thin .Who is she?
