Step 1 Lead in T: Class begins, boys and girls. T: Now, listen to the song. Do you know the name of the song? S: Happy New Year. T: Oh, great. You already know the name of the song.

Let’s try to sing it happily together. (学生试着跟卡通唱歌谣。)

T: Well done, boys and girls.

T:Today is the 21st

of December.New Year’s Day is on the 1st

of January .So New Year is coming. Are you happy?

T:What can we do in New Year?

(You can tell us in Chinese.) S: 唱歌跳舞/ 拜年/ 吃大餐。

T: Good. We can do many interesting things in New Year. And, we can get a lot of presents, too.

T:I like New Year.Do you like New Year? S: Yes. T:Let’s say ‘Happy New Year.’(板书课题) Ss: Happy New year.

Step 2 Presentation T: Look, it is New Year. Someone is visiting Mike’s family. Do you know?

Who is he?

S: Uncle John. (教授Uncle John并把头像贴在黑板上。)

T: Uncle John comes to visit Mike’s family today.

What presents does he bring? Let’s watch the cartoon. (教授单词ball, robot, doll并把图片贴在黑板上。)

T: Who are they for? Please read the story by yourselves.

学生带着问题读课文。

T: Who can match the presents with the children? 请学生上黑板连一连

T: Now, let’s try to act. T: Who wants to be Mike/ Helen?

S:.. T: Who wants to be Uncle John?

You can say ‘This is for you.’ (板书并带读句子

This is for you.) T: Here’s the doll. Who can try? S: This is for you. Helen. S1: Thank you. (同法呈现ball和doll)

T: Now,

‘Wow, thank you’,‘How nice!’ or something else. OK? S: OK.
