The first period
Teaching aims :
New words: koala zoo panda cute map tiger elephant dolphin giraffe smart
New stences: Why do you like koalas?
Because they are very cute. Section A Step1:Ask student to names as many animals as they can in English .
Point to the animals one by one and say the name of each
Point out the numbered list of word. Then ask students to match each word with one of the pictures.
Step2:Point to the animals in 1a
Play the recording the first time,students only listen.
Play the recording a second time ,this time students
check each animal name they hear.
Step 3:Do activity 1c ,it provides guided oral practice
using the target language.
