Watches cost too much. 步骤:
I.导入环节:
1.师生问候。
T: My name is Jessie. Hello, boys and girls. What’s your name? S1: My name is Peter. T: Nice to meet you. S1: Nice to meet you, too. T: Do you like Spring Festival? S2: Yes, I do. T: What do you do at the Spring Festival? S3: We make dumplings. T: Which season do you like? Why? S4: I like summer. I can swim in summer. 2.Sing a song《Where are you going?》
T: I’m going to have an English class with you today .So I’m very happy .We’re going to learn Unit 5 《What about a Robot ?》At first ,let’s sing a song 《Where are you going?》
II.复习:
Answer some questions of Unit4. T: We know, Jimmy and his friends went to the amusement park. P1&T: What does Jimmy want to ride? S1: He wants to ride the roller coaster. T: How does the roller coaster look? S2: It looks exciting. P2&T: What does Lili want to ride? S3: She wants to ride the bumper car. T: Look at Ken. How is Ken? S4: He is scared.
P3&T: They’re very happy in the amusement park .But it’s late. It’s time to go home .They can come again if they have time in the future. III.新授环节

讨论图片,听音回答框架问题:
What topic are they talking about? P1&T: Today, Lili and Jess meet in the street .They are talking about something .What place can you see? S1: Store. T: Can they go to the store? Maybe . P2&T: Where are they? S2: In the store. T:There are so many things on the courter. They are looking at them. P3&T: What’s in the woman’s hand? Can they buy this robot at last ? Maybe you have different questions about 3 pictures .Now listen to the tape and then answer this question: What topic are they talking about?

逐图讨论,听音,回答问题。
P1:T: What does Lili ask at first? S1: Where are you going? T: Where is Jess going? S2: To the store. 学习store,并讲发音规则,举例more, score T: Why is Jess going to the store? S3: Because Ken’s birthday is on Friday. T: What does Jess want to do for Ken’s birthday? S4: She wants to buy him a present. 学习buy, T: What can you buy in the bookstore? What can you buy in the bakery? 学习present T: Him means Ken .If Jess wants to buy a present for a girl. We should change her .If your mother’s (father’s) birthday is coming, Ss: I want to buy her him) a present. Fill in the blanks. (听音,复述) P2: T: Where are they? S1: In the store. T: Who is the woman? S2: She is a salesperson. T: There are so many things on the counter. Lili is pointing to the watch and say something. Discuss: What do they want to buy? T: What does Lili ask at first? S1: What about a new watch? T: Can Jess buy a watch? S2: No, she can’t.
