教材分析：本课的内容是北京市义务教育改革试验教材北师大版《小学英语》四年级下册第八单元Mocky is late第一课时的故事教学，主要是理解故事内容，初学时间表达法。

学生分析：四年级的学生已经有了一定的语言积累，具备一定的语言表达能力，敢于表达，乐于参与英语课堂教学活动，时间这个话题与学生日常生活紧密相关，是学生感兴趣的话题，容易激起学生的兴趣

教学目标：

1.知识目标：能听懂会说认读表达时间的o’clock, It’s time to… early, late, broken, fix. 2.技能目标：能够较流畅地朗读课文，理解课文讲述的内容。

3.情感目标：培养学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生做事守时，时间观念要强的思想意识。
