【教学材料】:北师大版小学英语四年级Unit 9 A Happy Day 【课型特点】:英语故事阅读教学

【授课班级】:电子科技大学附属实验小学

四年级二班

【教学内容分析】:本课是北京师范大学出版社出版的《英语》四年级下册的第九单元 Day and Night 第四课时,本课是一篇故事阅读教学。故事讲述的是Ken和Ann度过的快乐的一天。在星期天,Ann和Ken不用去上学,他们度过了愉快的一天。故事由语篇叙述和阅读练习两部分组成。语篇部分是对于故事的一个概括性的叙述,阅读练习是对语篇理解的检测。

【学情分析】:本次的教学对象是四年级二班的学生,经过三年多的英语学习,学生英语学习兴趣浓,英语基础较好。但是学生的英语学习基础相差较大,所以在设计教学内容时主要突出对基础知识的夯实,利用图片和文字提示尽可能的让学生多说、多读,培养学生的口头表达能力,通过各种阅读活动来培养学生获取信息的能力。

【教学目标】

(一)知识与技能目标

1.

学生能借助图片等读懂短文。

2. 能朗读或表演短文。

3. 能了解西方儿童的周末生活等背景知识。

(二)过程与方法目标

1.能够根据语篇叙述捕捉信息,在老师的引导下进行预测和猜想,能够在任务的引导下进行自主阅读。

2.通过学习故事,学会在图片,影像的帮助下听懂、读懂故事。学会观察、思维、想象。

3.培养学生运用已有知识主动观察,敢于思考,自主探究的能力。

(三)情感态度、价值观及文化意识

1.通过学习本课学生能够充分感受到Ann 和Ken度过了充实快乐的一天,从而联想到自己快乐的一天。

2.在小组合作中体验成功所获得的成就感、满足感,培养学生合作意识

3.了解中西方儿童周末生活的异同,开拓孩子们的视野。

【教学重难点】

本课教学重点是理解故事大意。教学难点是帮助学生在整体理解故事的基础上,提高获取所需信息的能力,以及有效地提炼教材提供的资源,结合原有知识经验初步运用所学语言进行表达交流的能力。

【教学准备】

教学光盘、多媒体课件、卡片等。

【教学过程】

Activity 1:Greeting and Warm up (5m)

Sing a song“days of the week”, 师生同唱。

T: Good morning! Boys and girls! How are you today? Ss: Fine. Thank you! T: There is a song. Please put up your hands. Let’s do and sing.

[设计意图]:消除开课时的紧张感、激发兴趣。

Activity 2:Story reading

1. Pre-reading (8m) Free talk: talk about “what do you do on Sunday?”

T: what day is it? Ss: it’s Sunday.

T: Do you go to school on Sunday?

Ss: No, we don’t.

T: what do you do on Sunday? S1: …..

S2:….

S3:…

T: you have a very interesting Sunday. Do you want to know the English children’s Sunday? Let’s see. 出示英国儿童过周末的图片,引出故事主题。

[设计意图]:引导学生自由谈论与故事相关的话题,激发学生学习故事的兴趣。了解英国儿童的周末,开拓学生视野,为故事学习做好铺垫。

2. While-reading ⑴read, find and complete(8m) T:

English children do many things on Sunday. How about Ann and Ken? Let’s

learn about it. Please open your book and turn to page 31.

Ss: ok T: read the story quickly and find “what places do Ann and Ken go?”

Ss: (reading)

T: have you read the story?

Ss: Yes! T: work in four and circle the places. (学生自读课文,小组合作找出关键信息)

T:Let’s see. This is Ann and Ken’s house. They go out. Where do the go first? Hands up! S1: they go to the bookstore.

T: then where do they go?

S2: they go to a restaurant.

T: and then they go to ….

S3: they go to the swimming pool. T: At last, they go…

Ss: they go home.

(2) Read, underline and draw(6m)

T: But when do they go to __? Now, read and underline the times, then draw the clocks. (学生自读课文, 帅选关键信息)

T:have you finished?

Ss:yes!

T: look, there is a big clock! We can show the time on it! E.g. when do they go out?

Ss: they go out at 10 o’clock. T: (body language)

T:Let’s Listen and repeat after the tape. Try to imitate. [设计意图]:听的输入,强调模仿,培养学生的英语思维,关注学生语言面貌。

(2)Play the roles

Try to do it in pairs.

[设计意图]:在情景中表演,加强理解,关注学生语言表达。

(3) Rewrite your happy day.

T: are Ann and Ken happy on Sunday?

Ss: yes!
