1. Listen to a song about vegetables Students can listen to it first , then let them follow it. 2. A sharp eye Step 2: Presentation and practice: 1. 课件出示carrot、carrots、tomato、tomatoes图片，教读单词，可以先出示图片carrot, 提问What’s this ?(It’s a carrot.) 然后出示图片carrots, 继而导入并在小组间操练句型：What are these ?They’re carrots. 继续句型What are these ?They’re tomatoes.讲解单词tomato加es,重点讲解单词的单复数形式。提醒学生注意these的发音，th 发咬舌音。

2. Let’s chant 教师出示西红柿等几幅图片，示范并帮助学生创编chant。

3. 教师出示黄色西红柿，并问学生：

What are these? 引导学生回答并鼓励学生品尝，教师教读句子：Try some ，they’re good. 4. 课件出示生长着的胡萝卜，教读句子：Are these carrots? Yes, they are. （No ,they aren’t）.学生利用guessing game 操练句型。
